Not recommended. We were assigned a spot directly by the railway tracks and a main road. It was very loud. We traveled with two small dogs, and when we asked if we could get a spot closer to the sea, we were told that dogs are not allowed there. We accepted this. After a walk around the campsite towards the sea, we noticed that spots by the sea were available and also that every second one had a dog there. Incomprehensible...... Now we wanted to go to the sea, but this was separated by a huge gate from the campsite. To get to the sea, you need a wristband, which we never received, and thus had no access to the sea. We assume that we were disadvantaged like this because we only spent one night here. Two people, two small dogs, 54 euros without electricity is absolutely unjustified.

As others have already reported, everything is actually in the green area. BUT: The restaurant in the square may be good during the season, but we were there in October, besides us there were only a few guests in the restaurant, we sat outside alone, ordered pizza, after about 45 minutes I asked when the pizza was coming, "Just a moment, just a moment," we then received a small salad. After over an hour, a scooter (pizza delivery) drove up the driveway; I jokingly told my wife, "Here comes our pizza." It was no joke, it was our pizza, which was quickly placed on plates and served to us, of course cold and like rubber. Great, but we still had to pay for it 😎

Unfortunately, the location is not very nice, as there are railway tracks nearby. However, the buses depart right in front of the door. The plots are overall rather small, and even those in the first row to the beach are rather disappointing, as you look at a high fence. The sanitary facilities are quite old and only moderately clean, with no place to stay for long.

Nice welcome after 1,300 km journey, our reservation was already on the counter! Friendly and attentive team throughout the Happy Camping Village. Campsite with medium-sized pitches, our spot was a bit tight for a caravan with a tent and car, just barely fit, but there are other spots that are easier, especially near the beach. Campsite is "typically Italian", especially the toilets and animation, showers are okay, camping shop available, playground, swimming pool too, restaurant good and with fair prices. Many international and Italian campers - "good mix", hence pleasant atmosphere. No party people, mostly families with their teenage children, looking for the best WiFi. Divided beach sections, but an umbrella with two loungers per pitch was very pleasant. Volleyball courts and beach bars on the beach. Our beach bar offered an excellent espresso for 1 EUR, more than fair! The entrance system with chip system and gate card didn't always work well, but whatever - the campsite seems safe, has visible staff. Definitely take an evening boat tour to Rimini and make sure to go to the Romagna Shopping Valley with a huge hypermarket. No hotel towers nearby, streets, shops, development (hotels) bring you back to the 80s, what more could you want ;)

This campsite is a real imposition! 4 stars - who awarded that? The sanitary facilities apparently have never been cleaned. Children’s entertainment from early until 11 PM. Who takes into account vacationers seeking peace? Maximum 2-star recommendation. Suitable for a maximum of 1 night. The train line is still the quietest part of the entire campsite. Staff are friendly.

We were at the site for the third time in 2018, as always from mid to late September. This time with a dog after a holiday just for two and one with daughter and granddaughter. Each time it was great. The staff is always friendly, and the site as well as all the facilities are clean. We cannot confirm the negative reviews. Toilet paper is sufficiently available on a large roll in the toilet foyer. The disposal station for the chemical toilets is next to the front toilet house at the vehicle wash area. It is not as cramped there as in the cabin of the second toilet house, which is meant more for emptying wastewater tanks. The only downside in 2018: Annoying tiger mosquitoes from the first to the last day. However, you can't blame the site operator for that. So don't forget the insect repellent.

A small campsite right by the sea, beautiful sandy beach, very friendly reception, they try hard to do everything right. Mini-market and restaurant on site only open from Easter, but there is a large supermarket nearby that leaves no wishes unfulfilled. There are many pizzerias in town that are open all year round, a secret tip for good fish, Ristorante Luna Rossa, just a few minutes walk from the site, pizza and fish fresh and a Vino della casa mmmh. The campsite is well laid out. The sanitary facilities are really clean even if they do not meet the latest standards. The staff is generally friendly and helpful. The pitches vary in size, and for large motorhomes, the paths and curves are a bit tight.

Gastronomic offers
With its direct beach location and child-friendly facilities, the Happy Camping Village is ideal for a family holiday on the Italian Adriatic. In addition to the leisure activities on site, the nearby centre of Bellaria-Igea Marina offers attractive entertainment options.
The Happy Camping Village campsite, which is open all year round, is located on a 4-hectare meadow right by the sea. The site is divided by hedges into 180 pitches ranging in size from 60 to 100 square metres for caravans and motorhomes. All pitches have connections for electricity, water and waste water and, depending on the location, free WLAN reception. The sanitary facilities offer special areas for guests with limited mobility and parents with small children can use a nappy-changing room. As an alternative to the pitches, there are also a number of rental accommodations to choose from. Sports activities ranging from boccia and tennis to beach volleyball provide variety, while the youngest guests can enjoy a playground and a mini club. The price also includes access to the pool complex with a separate children's area and the use of parasols and sun loungers on the gently sloping private beach. A restaurant spoils visitors with culinary delights, snacks and drinks are available at the pool or beach bar and self-catering guests can buy a selection of groceries for their daily needs at the mini-market. If you would like to explore the area around the campsite, you can take the bus to the town centre or to Rimini - there is a stop on line 4 right outside the door.
