We used the designated camping site at the outer harbor. At the end of August, we were almost alone there. We had a view of the Ijselmeer. The sanitary facilities were relatively new and very clean. The town center of Stavoren is easily reachable on foot or by bike. Especially important for us: dogs allowed. Great price-performance ratio.

Few tourist spots, many permanent campers. Very uncomplicated, clean, and the staff is pleasantly unobtrusive. There is a small supermarket in the harbor. The showers are free as well as the internet. No upscale amenities but still nice.
