We have been here three times with and without children, but always with a dog. There is a large dog training area at the site and a designated area for dog owners on the beach. The campsite is located 2 km outside a small village and is, except for the mandatory entertainment during the high season, very quiet; it only takes a few hundred meters through the dunes to get to the beach. The site is very well-maintained and the staff, who all speak good English, are very friendly and helpful. Nearby attractions include the Saturnia Thermal Baths, the Tarot Garden of Niki de Saint Phalle, and many beautiful towns such as Pitigliano, Sorano, or Capalbio, and much more. Great area, good price-performance ratio!
