We only found this campsite open all year round because we were frequent guests there several years ago and know it (the ADAC app doesn’t list it – otherwise we would have missed it). About the "noise": this is not a holiday site, but a pure overnight place. No night flights and the concrete factories close in the evenings. We were never bothered by that. Nice walks through the floodplain forests down to the Rhône. On the site, there are many – partially occupied – parked caravans and motorhomes. A part of the sanitary facilities is reserved by code for these "residents". But the remaining part for the "visitors" is definitely OK. Free Wi-Fi only in the vicinity of the reception. We were not the only ones to use the overnight offer in March as tourists. The reception only opened at 9:30 AM; closed from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM. 46 CHF for one night in March without any other offer seemed excessive to us. A compliment is due to the receptionist – very friendly and helpful. Conclusion: Even if it is far from a top spot - as the year-round open place near Geneva, we are not aware of any alternative here.
