Freizeitpark Wisseler See

We were there over the extended weekend at the beginning of October 2025 for 3 nights. Our arrival was in the evening around 9 PM. We were then received by the night watchman. We had booked the southern spot, which is a bit secluded and is for dog owners. The entrance is only accessible with a key at the gate, which we were given. Without a key, you cannot get in or out, I find that a bit impractical. There is also no direct access to the lake from that area. The main area is mostly occupied by permanent campers and seems a bit neglected at times. Cleaning of the sanitary facilities is done according to the notice only in the early morning, in the high season it is a no go. This place is not suitable for those seeking peace. More for families with children, animation in high season. For dog owners, there are good opportunities for walking, as well as options for cycling.

No space for dog owners. You are pushed to a side spot without lake and beach access. However, you still have to pay the full price and extra for the dog. This is pure rip-off. The main area looks like a construction site.

Paved walking/driving paths. But the ground of the pitches is terrible. Hardly any grass, mostly bare earth. It could be a muddy wasteland in the rain. Pegs in the dry ground are nearly impossible, except with solid steel pegs and a heavy hammer. Overall, there is a lot of room for improvement, especially at this price level. Finally a place without dogs.

- 1 sanitary building closed every day from 5 to 9 AM for cleaning, the other from 8 to 10 AM?? Where does one go to the toilet from 8 to 9 AM? - Aging sanitary buildings - Sanitary building is cleaned only once a day - no Wi-Fi - 1GB Wi-Fi for €5 ?? - awkward exit from the site for pedestrians and cyclists through a door?? - Wedding venue on site with sound until 3 AM + very tasty rolls + sufficiently large pitch

Pros: Friendly staff Good paved pathways and sidewalks Non-campers do not easily access the site Meadow and sand by the lake Bread roll service and bakery Child-friendly Cons: Noisy (gate, music from others, heavy traffic) Quiet hours are not observed, party group nearby Sanitary facilities old and cramped, also with the best noise from the neighbors, cleanliness poorly assessable due to signs of aging, cleaning staff is friendly, shower benches wobbly and everything floods while showering Aquapark costs an extra €12 for 45 minutes, at least with a life jacket Pitch with supply column, which unfortunately is on the other side of the pitch... Neighbors always had to drive over our power cable, wastewater is unmanageable 2 fuses blown for no reason, luckily noticed at 27 degrees Restaurant offers only a buffet.

I cannot say anything good, I had a parking space at the Burgencamp, for a camper with a length of 7 meters the entrance was far too narrow. The sites at the Burgencamp should be parceled, which I understand differently. I then went to the reception to inform that my husband had just damaged his camper, an employee looked at the damage and then asked if that really happened at your site, which we confirmed. We paid the full amount for the about one hour we were at the site. My husband then said he would send a review to the ADAC, to which the employee replied are you trying to threaten me, after which we ended the conversation and drove home, as we are very disappointed and have never experienced something like this after seven years of camper holidays. PURE SCAM.

Very poorly maintained pitches. Mowing the lawn, trimming hedges is not known here. Every day, and sometimes at night, bass sound reverberates across the campsite, very loud at our pitch, you felt like you were at Berlin Central Station during rush hour. Nighttime quiet is nonexistent. With 650 permanent pitches somehow not surprising. Sanitary facilities are terrifying, showers flood the entire shower cabin, including the bench with change of clothes. Staff upon arrival gave a rather irritated impression. For party-goers, it might be a nice place, but nothing for campers looking for peace and relaxation. Now for the positive: An ice cream man comes around here every day, and the ice cream is really tasty.

Positive: The lake is great. The campsite itself is quite clean and well-maintained, and the staff is nice. Negative: The sanitary facilities are not only old but really dirty. In the morning, they go over it once with a hose, not even cleaned. Everywhere are strange stains, it smells unpleasant, and chewing gum is stuck to the walls. Schedule contrary to the description without water. The floor is disgusting and there is partying until after midnight. Despite countless complaints being submitted, the site operator did not respond. Restaurant tasted really okay, but the service was a total disaster; how can you forget parts of the dishes twice with two dishes?
