Camping am Lippesee

A very clean and large partitioned campsite. Each parcel has its own corresponding bathrooms. Depending on the category, these are good, better than good, very nice. Unfortunately, the proximity to the highway is a drawback. However, during the day, we didn't mind, as we were rarely on the site in good weather, and explored the beautiful surroundings a lot. For the children, there is a small playground on the campsite and a large adventure playground directly at Lippe Lake, accessible from behind the campsite via a footbridge. This has a beautiful sandy beach and also invites for an extensive walk. (Lippesee circuit is about 8 km) The staff is super friendly and very helpful. The associated restaurant offers solid cuisine at a good price-quality ratio and tastes excellent.

We were there for one night in the summer. What is very nice is that everyone has their own bathroom, electricity was included. The staff was more than friendly. Around the place, there is also a park, perfect for children.

The place is quite large and spacious, with great access to Lippesee, fantastic cycling tours, etc. possible from here. Plenty of shopping opportunities in the nearby town (15 min on foot). The highway is clearly audible throughout the site. We had a secluded pitch with our own toilet and shower. What we found unfortunate was that there are few trash cans on the site and NO disposal for toilet cassettes.

We only used the site with our camper for an overnight stay. We were greeted exceptionally warmly and were very helpfully assisted with questions and problems. The dining staff were also very friendly and child-loving at all times. It's a shame that we were only there for one night - we will come back!

Actually, the campsite is quite okay. What is very unfortunate is that no one considers it necessary to take care of the night rest. The teenagers are allowed to make noise as long as they want. No matter what happens with the guests who want to sleep.
