Location great for cycling (if you like hills) ie Grand Ballon, Le Markstein etc. But also the voie velo routes. Hartmannswillerkopf Museum/Memorial is a good visit Supermarket is close by. Pitch/rental accommodation: Pitch was a good size. Careful manoeuvring required between trees. Trees provide shade but sunny bits too. Quiet campsite.

Reception staff did not appear to speak English and my french is limited, so I feel I wasn't given as much information as was available - ie plan of the site / wasn't given a 'badge' to open the barrier during my stay so had to ask reception to lift it to let us back in. Pitch/rental accommodation: Showers and sinks had barely warm water. Cubicles small with insufficient hooks. Shop was very small with limited stock so only used the supermarket a short walk away.

The sanitary facilities were simply dirty. I reported it to the reception. But I was told that they are cleaned twice a day. That could be true. But it is not visible. Spiderwebs everywhere. The tiles on the walls and floor were really dirty. Behind the toilet was dirty too. The swimming water was murky after Pentecost and the floor was so slippery that my husband fell hard on his whole side. Huge bruise and after a week he still cannot use his arm. The floor was just greasy from sunscreen and body fats. A pressure washer would be the best solution. Pitch/Accommodation: See regarding the cleaning.
