Pros

We had a spot by the river and looked out over a waterfall. Beautiful, completely in nature. Every morning fresh baguette and the children had fun swimming and floating on the river. There is also a swimming pool, but we did not use it. Pitch/Rental accommodation: We were with our own tent.

Cons

Lighting in the toilet building is poor.

This is the second time we've been here with our large group of 15 Belgians (dads and kids), and we've appreciated our stay even more than last time. The place is quiet and relatively uncrowded. The owners are welcoming, relaxed, and always available. Our kids loved the pool. We won't soon forget the nights under the stars or the descent into the rapids in front of the campsite, which marked the start of each day. In the evening, there was local cuisine and good wines served by the lovely ladies at the campsite's restaurant! Location/Accommodation: The pitches by the river were both beautiful and spacious.

Location/Accommodation: The sanitary facilities remain the weak point – like everywhere in France, I suppose.

The camping site was only moderately busy before the season started, allowing us to have a wonderful stay without any waiting times or other issues. The sanitary facilities were very clean. The pitches were generous and naturally beautiful, with water and electricity connections nearby. Pitch/Rental accommodation: The tent on the riverside pitch was great, but not recommended for sensitive sleepers as it can get quite noisy.

Cons

No lunch offerings. Pitch/Rental accommodation: Perhaps a note for everyone who doesn't study far away that it is not quiet by the river.

🤝 I don't understand the criticism here. We were warmly welcomed and were lucky to have the first pitch by the river, right next to the pool and restaurant! You hardly heard any noise from the activities at the pool. It was also a short walk to the sanitary facilities. It was good that there were no toilet seats; it might not have been pretty, but what can you expect at these prices? The restaurant serves good and reasonably priced food, with very friendly staff. Everything was always very clean and well-maintained, so we were very satisfied and will definitely come back again someday. Thank you very much to the whole team.
