Flat, elongated meadow with various dense vegetation, tall deciduous trees on the riverbank. Located on a Loire island, behind the stadium. Adjacent to a youth hostel. Some views of the castle. Railway line and road on the other side within earshot.

Suitable for transit with a motorhome.
The site has aged, sanitary facilities are country-specific but clean. The overnight price for a pitch for two persons is currently (high season) €43. There are many offerings for children.

Good place - very good location
The beautiful old town of Saumur is easily reachable with a short walk along the river. A somewhat dated but well-maintained place.

👎 Price too high for a campsite with no services (bar, catering...). Location/Rental accommodation: "muddy" site due to mobile home installation work!

👍 Camping close to downtown Site/Rental accommodation: Large site, well-defined Site/Rental accommodation: It’s a shame that to fill up with clean water for the campsites, one has to go to the back of the camping on a site and not at the dumping area.

👍 Good stay, well-maintained restrooms available, access to the pool. Location/Rental accommodation: Water and electricity at the shaded location, the only small problem is that the trees are not trimmed enough.
