For stress lovers, it's okay, but searching for a spot is a chore

If you love STRESS, this campsite is quite good. I will not be coming back here as I drove 8 hours with my car and caravan. Upon arriving at the reception gate, there were 2 women who apparently had no desire to work. There were no other people there. Nevertheless, they made us wait 15 minutes. After that, the beautiful vacation began. The search for a spot was quite challenging. We were very lucky to snag a nice spot, number 171, after an hour of searching. [Without a mover] it was a nightmare. The entrance is VERY narrow with the caravan, and it took me 30 minutes to park. The site has no water connection or sewage system. The sanitary facility number 2 is very smelly and smells like crap. On the last day, there were people asking every 5 minutes, 'When are you leaving?' It was very annoying. The beach loungers are free but occupied by people with towels. The first 3 rows are mostly taken by seasonal campers.

Everything is good at the site, entertainment programs, live music, shopping opportunities, very nice and helpful staff, great service in all restaurants and bars, top dishes, very clean sanitary facilities. As I said, "once Valalta, always Valalta". After almost fifteen years, I've never had a complaint. Keep it up 😸

We left the place today in a hurry. After what we've experienced, the unfriendly staff and the exorbitant prices have become a side issue. Contrary to a report read that one would distance themselves from the swinger scene, we really had to witness abhorrent things last night. At the neighboring campsite, a S** meeting took place at midnight and we had to listen to it. One initially assumes that the operator cannot do anything about the behavior of the visitors, but neither the security at night nor the managers this morning took us seriously. Apparently, such behavior is tolerated/welcomed at the campsite. Everyone can live as they wish, but that other guests have to witness/hear this is truly the lowest level. The permanent campers next door amused themselves at our complaints. Thank you for a sch* vacation.

Check-in is impossible. You have to find a free spot yourself. Even at the beginning of June, it's extremely full. Then you have to navigate an 8-meter camper through the sometimes very narrow alleys. The reception either cannot or does not want to show you any free spots on the map. I asked twice, received no help. This is not an ADAC super place for me; it is a service wasteland. We then drove away.

Unfortunately, no longer my favorite place. In recent years, costs have risen extremely, for example, 1 washing machine now 8 euros. At the same time, extremely unfriendly staff, especially in the supermarket. Really not needed when you pay so much money.

The site is really great, the sanitary facilities are always clean, the pitches are nice and large, there is everything you need, and the supermarket is very, very good. Unfortunately, you are not allowed to ride scooters on the premises; you have to leave it at the barrier, which I cannot do for health reasons. It's a shame because otherwise, I would come back immediately. We were long-term campers for a very long time, but years ago, it became totally exaggerated with scooters and other gasoline-powered vehicles. Some rode around the site, and of course, disturbed other guests.

More info about FKK-Camping Valalta
Valalta naturist campsite is considered one of the best places for naturists in the entire Mediterranean region. It appeals to discerning travellers who want to spend a relaxing time with the whole family. The site is characterised by its front-row location on a naturist beach, its attractive pool area and many exceptional extras, such as a large wellness oasis and its own brewery.
Camping for all the senses
Valalta naturist campsite welcomes guests on 1,141 parcelled-out pitches, all of which have their own electricity connection and measure up to 140 square metres. Guests can log into the WLAN both in the motorhome and in the other areas of the site. The site is particularly impressive with its water park, which has both an indoor and outdoor pool and water slides. The youngest guests are also catered for: they can let off steam in the paddling pool and children's playground or have fun with their peers in the mini club. While the children enjoy their holiday, their parents can relax in the resort's wellness area or indulge in one of the many spa treatments on offer. The animated sports programme and the campsite's numerous facilities provide plenty of sporting activities: from the trampoline facility to the driving range and adventure mini-golf. Classic sports such as beach volleyball and tennis are also played here. In addition to the opportunities for active holidays, guests praise the varied cuisine in the bars and restaurants at FKK-Camping Valalta, where self-catering guests can stock up on fresh food in the supermarket. To top off the culinary offerings, the campsite organises a big "Frühschoppen" for all guests on Sundays and serves beer from the campsite's own brewery.
Camping in Istria: History and nature
Directly at the Valalta naturist campsite is an approximately 1.5 km long pebble naturist beach, which has bathing platforms in front of it and a sandy bay for children. In addition to a refreshing dip in the Adriatic, boats can also be hired here for a Mediterranean cruise. If you bring your own boat, you can launch it at the boat slip and moor it at the berths. To actively explore the Istrian peninsula, campers can hire a bike directly from the campsite and immerse themselves in the fascinating history of this former Roman province. Nearby Rovinj invites visitors with its picturesque old town, which has been inhabited for almost 2,000 years. The town is dominated by the Church of St Euphemia, which was built in the Baroque style and is now one of Rovinj's landmarks.
