Tangloppen Camping in the Danish town of Ishøj is located on an artificial peninsula by an inland lake right by the sea. Not only is the beach for swimming right on the doorstep, but there is also a large water sports and leisure area with a marina. There is a boat slip and a jetty with moorings. There is also a golf course 8 kilometres away and an indoor swimming pool 1.5 kilometres away. There is also a great playground for children. The campsite has covered cooking facilities and a kiosk with a bread roll service. WLAN is also available here and at reception and there is a restaurant 2 km away.
Site on an artificially created peninsula in the inland lake with access to the sea, near a large water sports leisure facility with marina. In sight the 'Arken Museum for Moderne Kunst', shaped like a large ship.

The location is beautiful by the water. Unfortunately, this also means many mosquitoes. Great to have a sauna and a hot tub. Rental of SUP and canoe. Super friendly operators. Spots directly by the water, some without electricity. The division of the toilets for men and women is strange.

Very nicely located campsite. For pitches 100….- the operator should perhaps pay more attention to the arrangement of cars and tents. For us, there were definitely too many dogs. A cleaning of the sanitary facilities before 7 am would be useful.

The sanitary facilities are a bit outdated, but they fulfill their purpose. Reception mega friendly and helpful. Spaces clean and generously sized. Definitely coming back again.

Arrived at Bornholm at night (11:00 PM) and stayed overnight in front of the campsite. Since our reserved spot was not yet free (7:00 AM), the "manager" recommended three other spots (water side/Baltic Sea side), which were even better. We then chose one and did not regret it, even extending for another night. Meanwhile, the campsite has new owners (family), very friendly. The reception is not always staffed, but manual check-in/out at the terminal is possible. The sanitary facilities are not up to date, but are cleaned daily. Hot water for showers and electricity were included in the overnight rate. At some pitches, the distance to the power box is too far. One should have a suitable extension cord. The campsite is recommended for the Copenhagen trip. There is a bus stop at the campsite, with connections to the S-train to Copenhagen. By bus, it takes 10 minutes, with a bus every 30 minutes, and the S-train (Line A) takes 20 minutes to Copenhagen, arriving every 10 minutes. It takes 20 minutes on foot to reach the S-train station. The Copenhagen Card can be booked online, which includes public transportation (including ferries in Copenhagen). It’s a 10-minute walk to the beach. There is a shopping center at the train station. From our point of view, the campsite is recommended for camping enthusiasts.

The campsite is not excessively large, and it was already quite occupied upon our arrival. They initially wanted to offer us very poor spots, but we ended up with a somewhat acceptable one. Very few electrical connections. The reception speaks German but is very unfriendly and not helpful at all. The campsite is also not very suitable for visits to Copenhagen, as it is too far from the city. Here you have to pay double on the "public" transport due to being in a different zone. There is a bus stop right in front of the campsite. However, that doesn’t help much, as you first have to buy tickets at the train station in the next town. This is only revealed to you on-site by the unfriendly operator. So, we packed everything up in the motorhome and drove to the train station. It then turned out that you cannot buy the tickets in advance. We wanted to go to Copenhagen the next day; we would have to go to the train station first, then back to the campsite, and then take the bus. So, we returned, thought it over, and left the next morning. Sanitary facilities, as almost always, are too few, partly rotten, and dirty. For almost 40 euros, one should expect more.

We are a family of four (6/8) with a dog and visited the two-star rated camping site Ishøj Tangloppen. The conditions there are catastrophic. Every star there is one too many. We were horrified by the cramped spaces and the service. We tried to contact the site via email two days before arrival, to no avail. When we pointed this out on arrival, there was a weary smile. They had so much to do that they couldn't read emails! But when we left after one night instead of the three we booked, we were told that we must email in advance for special requests, which would be read every day. Difficult. By the way, they also did not offer us a refund for our people. We had paid for the pitch. The argument was that there was no one immediately available to take over the pitch. However, the entire site was still full the day before ;-) The state of the sanitary facilities was truly dreadful. Three ladies' showers for the whole site! I waited twenty minutes and was still lucky! Even worse are the toilets. Four in total. One hopes not to have to use these toilets. Especially with children, it’s a nightmare. If you wanted to wash up after eating, you had to again - exactly - wait! If you snagged a sink, the next surprise came: the water was cold. Off to the camper to turn on the kettle and start over. The only thing that really is true is that the bus stop towards Copenhagen is directly in front of the camping site on the street! We had previously been to five other Danish campsites and have not experienced such a state at any of them rated two stars. We spent one of the three nights there and fled at nine in the morning. For us, it's clear: never again!! And I would have liked to halve that star above... Best regards!
