We visited this campsite for the first time in 2023. Since we liked it, we stopped there again in 2026 for an overnight stay. This time, however, it was extremely disappointing. There is no reception anymore. You have to scan a QR code and enter your personal data yourself. Then you pick any spot among the many permanent campers. The sanitary building still looks nice from the outside and at the entrance. However, then the catastrophe begins. The toilets, showers, and sinks seem to have not been cleaned for months. An electrical outlet by the sink is hanging loose. The only silver lining is the restaurant, which offers a variety of choices with friendly, attentive staff. Overall, the campsite has potential. Now, however, it seems that the campsite is just an unwanted annex. What a shame!

We stayed at this campsite in 2023, and we really liked it for a stopover. Now, in 2026, we returned and are extremely disappointed. There is no reception or contact person anymore. You have to scan a QR code and enter all the data yourself. You can choose a spot among the many permanent campers. The sanitary building looks nice from the outside. The access is also still decent. However, the toilets, showers, and sinks are a disaster. It feels like they haven't been cleaned in months. A socket at the sink was hanging out of the outlet. Apparently, there seems to be no contact person anymore. The only bright spot is the restaurant. A variety of food and very friendly and attentive service. Apparently, the campsite is only running reluctantly.

Perfect Place for a Stopover

We have already been here twice and find the place ideal for staying overnight on the way to Italy. The Brangeralm restaurant is very cozy and offers good food. During the day, there can be some noise from aircraft or the nearby S-Bahn, but it's no problem at all.

We used the spot for one night on our way to Italy. Reception and check-in were very friendly and straightforward. We also had free choice of spot and could simply park our trailer next to the washroom along its length. For one night, the washroom was more than sufficient and everything was clean. The food in the restaurant was great.
