Once in Haselünne - never again in Haselünne. The horses were undoubtedly the highlight, but everything else urgently needs renovation. Dirty permanent camping spots, foul-smelling toilets in the ladies’ showers, no kiosk that can rightfully be called such, a pub you only know from outdated films, which was also hardly open. Added to this were sandy, dirty spots and especially the riding program during the week was a joke. The kids were allowed to fetch the animals from the pasture, ride for 30 minutes at a walk, and that was it. The Shetland ponies were kept in horrendous muck, and the goose droppings by the lake were the highlight of 4 days of diarrhea for our dog. Sorry, this was not good. What a pity, we drove 500 km just for this.

For me, this campsite is among the worst facilities I have ever experienced. After booking, we were transferred to the "Naturplatz", which felt like an overbooking to me. The place had more of a festival atmosphere than family camping: a lot of alcohol, loud groups until late at night, and no control over the night quiet. I see the safety and fire protection situation as particularly critical. I work in fire safety myself and had the impression that basic requirements were not adequately implemented. In my view, there were insufficient fire safety measures, and the distances between caravans and tents were sometimes far too small. A fire outbreak would be realistic in case of an emergency. The sanitary situation was also inadequate: for the large number of guests, there was only one sanitary container. Those who value safety and relaxation should consider alternatives.

The location is great for children. The offerings are very diverse. What we didn't like at all was our accommodation. We had booked a holiday home. According to the internet, it looked fantastic. Unfortunately, we received an old bungalow. Heating was only possible with a catalytic stove. Great for dogs and children. Due to the lack of a chimney and smoke detector, we did not heat at night. The sink had a loose faucet, the shower was great and also spacious. However, there is no possibility to hang wet towels. The seating / dining area in the kitchen consisted of lounge furniture without cushions. Super comfortable. We reported the deficiencies (there were more small issues) verbally on the first day, then in writing. Upon departure, I was told in response to inquiries that the craftsmen had been there the day before, but we were not there. Sorry, on vacation, I do not just stay in the house. We would gladly return but only with our own caravan.

A lovely campsite, especially for children. Although the sanitary facilities are not modern, they are clean. The kids play all day throughout the area, and the staff is very nice and helpful. Registering for pony riding is somewhat time-consuming, but it's fine. Payments are now mostly cashless. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

Unfortunately, we were deceived by the nice and promising website... Fun and games for the whole family... Anyone who likes constant noise, unfriendly and visibly annoyed staff, very few shopping options, but a cigarette vending machine, cash payment only, but no ATM nearby (the nearest one is in the city...), neglected pitches, disorganization, bulk waste, no site attendant, poor internet, long wait times for registering for activities (mainly for toddlers) and possibly for nothing, unopened spaces for adults, cancellations of events due to staff illness, pointless lunch breaks, sick cats, vulgar music in the party tent, poor overview of the events, etc. is exactly right here. The only nice thing was the adjacent lake and the departure day.

Not nice anymore If less money were put into a fake social media campaign, the place would surely already be in much better shape than it is now We booked for 6 days and luckily no longer time was available at the inquiry The place is very neglected regardless of whether it's permanent campers or plots There is an insane noise level until late at night - no one enforces the night rest after 10 p.m. The area is itself very extensive so young people could certainly be sent to areas where they should obviously party. Regarding the toilets, showers, and washing areas, not much needs to be said It is regularly cleaned but unfortunately not maintained or preserved. With very little effort and better organization, one could really turn this into a gem Maybe someday the reviews will be accepted.

We were at this campsite for the 1st time, but also for the last time. The offerings for children are large and varied. The children were never bored. To register for horseback riding, you have to stand in line for almost 2 hours. The facility overall seems very neglected, almost every corner needs renovation. The sanitary facilities are relatively clean, the shower heads spray everywhere, just not where you need the water. Hardly any splash protection for clothing. The accessibility of the Wi-Fi is a disaster. On the campsite, it's almost never reachable, even right at the reception it's outrageously slow. Paying by card is not possible.
