A very beautiful spot in the greenery, toilets and showers renovated in 2024, everything is very clean and well maintained. The spot is located by a small lake. Easily accessible from the highway. The owner is still looking for a tenant for the establishment.

Unfortunately, we didn't see the reviews beforehand. Showers still haven't improved. But the restaurant is open and they serve delicious food. The bathing lake is close to the site. However, the "Waldseeimbiss" is not open, no DLRG (lifeguard as indicated in the plan). The building looks quite dilapidated. Shower tokens were "eaten" so you couldn't get in. Dirty toilets, round cleaned corners, full garbage bins... No hot water... There used to be a youth house where teenagers could meet to play kicker or other games. Here the windows are broken and everything is quite run down. The youth loiters around the only sanitary building and causes trouble. (the second sanitary building is closed) A long-term camper who has been coming here for 11 years, and only because it's cheap, just shook her head about how someone could choose such a place.

Dirty, sanitary facilities totally filthy and stinking. Place quite neglected. Restaurant closed for some time, but still advertised. Nice area, however, for walking.

This campsite is an imposition! We really cannot recommend it! Online pictures show something completely different and describe something else as well. It is called a recreational area but is actually the flight path of the Münster/Osnabrück airport. One restaurant is not open at all, for example. Sanitary facilities are completely defective, outdated, and dirty; not hygienic. Showers are partly junk. A changing mat for babies that was once white was no longer recognizable as such. And so it goes throughout the entire campsite, with a need for renovation at every corner. Not to mention the nighttime peace, which was none, due to continuous noise from parties that were only communicated to us on site. This can also be evidenced by photos.

The sanitary facilities were unacceptable (it stank and they were completely dirty). Our "comfort site" was, like the entire area, unkempt and neglected. We did not use either the sanitary facilities or the fresh water. The grocery store and the restaurant are not open, contrary to what was indicated on the website.

Already very unfriendly during the telephone booking, received no informational material upon arrival - except for a brochure from a pizza delivery service that was unreachable by phone during opening hours. Men's toilets: one third closed, one third dirty, and the last third without toilet paper - for over two days! The forest pool completely run down, littered and occupied by drinking teenagers! Restaurant closed! Never again!!!

Restaurant closed, no roll service, sanitary facilities in poor condition, toilets dirty (partly due to the guests), neglected facility. We wanted to stay for a week, but left after the first night.

Unfortunately, nothing has been done at the site. It looks a bit shabby. On the lawn, the spots are very large. But that was also the only thing. For a weekend it is okay, because in good weather you can also jump in the lake. Otherwise, it is not recommended for a longer stay.
