The site is terraced and wonderfully situated by a lake. In the past, people made an effort for a personal greeting, today everything is online, you don't even get out of the car to check in, your license plate from the booking is recognized. We had a not-so-cheap comfort site, which was completely dark at night and in the kitchen and washing area, only cold water could be used for rinsing, the dishwasher was disassembled, even though it is still advertised. In the men's restroom, soap and paper dispensers were repeatedly empty, in 2 showers the shower heads were missing, but there was no way to report the deficiencies, as the reception was unstaffed for 2 days. For older campers, exclusively communicating via the internet is often cumbersome, ordering rolls is only available online. I think the number of stars awarded is not okay.

The Eifel Camp is an ideal place for many permanent campers due to its proximity to the Cologne-Bonn region. This makes it interesting for groups during long weekends, even though it gets a bit bustling - but even during the Father's Day weekend, we found the large groups very civilized. The grounds are large and diverse, and the Comfort-Plus pitches have everything one could need. The reception is very friendly, the rolls are very tasty, but the mini shop is indeed very mini. In Blankenheim, however, there are numerous supermarkets. I loved the possibility to rent Nextbike e-bikes on site to ride there. The restaurant on site is very nice with solid food and good portions. Surroundings: pure Eifel! A round around the lake - or out with the SUP! Long rounds across fields and through forests with the dog... I can "unwind" here in 30 minutes.

We have been going to this site for 10 years. Unfortunately, it is no longer at all what it once was! The once luxurious sanitary facilities show a backlog of maintenance. In winter, it was forgotten to arrange sufficient gas bottle stock and for next year, a significant price increase has been announced - this was our last visit for now - what a shame!

Large area which, due to its arrangement, always appears organized. From the mini pitch to Comfort Plus with private bathroom, everything is possible! Great surroundings - especially the lake. The site is dog-friendly, has friendly staff, and a very pleasant restaurant. It's a bit of a drive to Blankenheim, although rental bikes are available through the local transport network on site. The little shop is - aside from the roll service - tiny and expensive. We have been there twice... but not for the last time.

The place gets worse year by year. We have been going to the site every year between Christmas and New Year for years. Especially because of the previously good sanitary facilities. This year, not only are the rooms cold, but also the showers.

Many positive reviews can be found here already, which do not need to be repeated. We are on a comfort plus pitch with the caravan. What we believe is absolutely unacceptable is the sharp-edged gravel ground here, which pierces through any tent/awning carpet and also requires sturdy footwear (flip-flops do not withstand the gravel). Of course, this ground saves you the mowing work. The campsite is very dog-friendly and therefore less suitable for people with a dog phobia.

We stayed here with the camper. The site was very well-kept and had very good sanitary facilities. The dining area was run very well, and the food and drinks were good. The facility is somewhat remote, but ideal for relaxation, even with a dog.
