Flat terrain in a sparse pine forest, divided by small bush rows. Sand dunes towards the sea. Hostel on site.
Access to water
The fine sandy, expansive beach can be reached via a approximately 200 m long sandy path through a small forest and dunes. The beach itself is several hundred meters long, up to 50 m wide, and shallow.

Sanitary facilities need more maintenance, nicely located place
Sanitary facilities are outdated and the cleanliness leaves much to be desired. Showers only with a card, pitches without water and wastewater connection. Nice beach, well suited for dogs.

I then received an automatically generated email stating that my inquiry had been received, but this was not a booking confirmation. This did not arrive for days. Wasn't great
Unfortunately, the service was relatively poor. On 09/10, they closed the toilets so that only the 3 family restrooms (3 toilets and showers for campers and hostel guests) were available. It was wonderful again
It was yet again a dreamlike stay at the best campsite I know. Karina and Simon put in so much effort year after year, and the rest is taken care of by the camping family that you meet again and again. I will be back in July 2023!!!

Unfortunately behind the times
I unfortunately have to do this. This was now the fourth visit to this place and I had to unfortunately realize that nothing has changed for the better. We always love coming here: great location by the sea, uncomplicated and friendly booking, nice campsite manager, kiosk and café are okay. B u t: The sanitary facilities are not adequately cleaned/here in the high season... overall a bit run down and also in need of renovation/old😩... very unfortuna… More

Great place in an idyllic location

Child-friendly campsite right on the beach
Dueodde Familiecamping & Hostel is situated in an idyllic location 3 kilometres from the town of Neksø on the Danish island of Bornholm. The flat site with small rows of bushes is 4.4 hectares in size and has 140 pitches for holidaymakers. There is a youth hostel attached to the child-friendly site. Campers have the option of emptying cassette toilets and waste water tanks. The campsite facilities include 120 CEE sockets, dishwashing sinks, washing machines and tumble dryers. Holidaymakers can shop in the campsite's own grocery shop and prepare their own meals using the covered cooking facilities, or feast in the restaurant. Guests have access to WLAN throughout the site. There is a nappy-changing room and a playground for young campers, and a wide sandy beach several hundred metres long awaits holidaymakers directly behind the dune belt. In bad weather, the public indoor pool with a children's pool promises water fun for young and old. Sports enthusiasts can play beach volleyball or hire bicycles. There is a golf course 4 km away. Nature lovers and hikers can explore the Paradisbakkerne, a hilly forest and hiking area in the north-west of Neksø. Holidaymakers can gain an insight into the fauna, flora and geology of the island at the NaturBornholm activity centre in Aakirkeby. Campers interested in culture can visit Bornholm's four famous round churches and the Christiansø sea fortress.
