Sanitary facilities need more maintenance, nicely located place

Sanitary facilities are outdated and the cleanliness leaves much to be desired. Showers only with a card, pitches without water and wastewater connection. Nice beach, well suited for dogs.

Scam even before arrival

Family

June 2024

I inquired about the campsite and had to transfer 1150 kronor via Visa. I then received an automatically generated email stating that my inquiry had been received, but this was not a booking confirmation. This did not arrive for days. I requested a refund of the reservation fee. They withheld 550 kronor for an automatically generated email that wasn't even a booking confirmation. That's a lot of money for a family of five. Only after I wanted to withdraw the reservation request did they suddenly respond quickly. However, they did not deem it necessary to send a booking confirmation. I'm glad I don't have to go there now. They also seem to charge a lot for little service in other areas (see showers).

Wasn't great

August 2022

Unfortunately, the service was relatively poor. On 09/10, they closed the toilets so that only the 3 family restrooms (3 toilets and showers for campers and hostel guests) were available. The campsite is still open until 09/25. On the day of departure, there were free shower tokens for a whopping 2.5 minutes. It was enough for lathering up but unfortunately not for rinsing off. So, I would not recommend this site despite the beautiful beach.

It was yet again a dreamlike stay at the best campsite I know. Karina and Simon put in so much effort year after year, and the rest is taken care of by the camping family that you meet again and again. I will be back in July 2023!!!

Unfortunately behind the times

June 2022

I unfortunately have to do this. This was now the fourth visit to this place and I had to unfortunately realize that nothing has changed for the better. Sanitary facilities are only conditionally usable except shortly after cleaning. The family shower without a baby pool can only be recommended with its own bath. An extra fee must be paid for each use. The washhouse with cooking areas is very outdated. The place itself has also seen better days. In the past, illuminated snakes adorned the wonderful spruce trees that have now all rotted away. The old area of the site looks the same with the power columns. The indoor pool is top-notch with the shop! The proximity to the beach is great and very, very good for kids! Overall, it's very, very unfortunate how the place presents itself.

Great location, but now "more quantity than quality"!

Pleasant6

Hey

June 2022

We always love coming here: great location by the sea, uncomplicated and friendly booking, nice campsite manager, kiosk and café are okay. B u t: The sanitary facilities are not adequately cleaned/here in the high season... overall a bit run down and also in need of renovation/old😩... very unfortunate considering the number of holidaymakers! The ADAC recommendation 2022 is not justified... The campsite still scores with its great location, but we will try other campsites.

Great place in an idyllic location

July 2021

We visited this site for the first time a few years ago. The site is not divided into parcels, but there is always enough space and distance from the next camping guest. The site is kept very clean, and the site managers are very helpful, friendly, and courteous. The sanitary facilities are cleaned regularly and are available in sufficient numbers. It takes about three minutes on foot to reach the dune and see the long sandy beach with its clear, shallow water. In about 10 km distance (City of Nexø), you can find all grocery stores (LIDL, fakta, etc.). We will recommend this site further and, as in previous years, come back again.
