The site is located on the Danube cycle path, busy operation due to arrivals and departures, site poorly maintained, the pitches in the roundabout are narrow. Sanitary building far too small and too few toilets. Pitches are grass or earth.

The campsite is ideally located on the Danube Cycle Path network. The beautiful adjacent natural lake can be used free of charge. Vienna is easily and cheaply accessible by train. In summer, the campsite is very full on weekends. The sanitary facilities are consequently overloaded. The plots are not particularly large. The two neighboring plots (actually sites for caravans or motorhomes) were assigned to 12 men with three small tents and three cars. This group recorded their gathering (and us) the whole time with their mobile phone. There was open fire and noise until late at night. With the morning prayer, the gathering continued at sunrise. We were left with only the option of leaving early. We would have preferred a maximum occupancy per plot. For hygiene reasons, it is common and also sensible to have a location for tents near the sanitary facilities.

I had a wonderfully successful stay at this campsite! I particularly want to highlight the incredibly friendly and helpful staff – from the reception to the groundskeeper, every contact was warm and competent. You really feel welcome here. The sanitary facilities also deserve a big compliment: everything was very clean, modern, and was regularly cleaned. You can tell that great value is placed on hygiene and comfort here. I will definitely come back and wholeheartedly recommend this place!

Beautiful Camping Site

Well laid out. Clean sanitary facilities, very good restaurant. Unfortunately, we had a parking space right at the entrance, so it was very loud during the day. There is no midday quiet time observed, but it is quiet at night. Good starting point for tours and visits to Vienna.

The campsite is located in a quiet area, right by the Danube. Friendly and guest-oriented reception, high-quality and clean sanitary facilities. The pitches are spacious and very well thought out, arranged in a circular layout. The location is very pleasant for bikers. From here you can take great tours, e.g. to Vienna, the Romantic Road through the Wachau, a tour to Mariazell... Our dog Bella also felt very comfortable, both on the campsite and outside. You can jog or bike along the Danube, through the beautiful Tulln gardens. We highly recommend this site and would love to come back.

Base for a Visit to Vienna
Very good8

The site consists of pitches for campers and motorhomes arranged in 6 rondels. The grass ground gets a bit muddy in rainy weather, but this can be taken into account when choosing suitable footwear. The sanitary facilities are clean and functional. A bakery stall provides delicious baked goods. The site is quietly located, and after a 15-minute walk, you can reach the town with all the important facilities, including a train station from which you can reach Vienna in about 40 minutes with the regional express. An adjacent swimming lake makes life bearable in summer. The Danube bike path runs right past the site. We would gladly choose this as a destination again. Costs per day for a motorhome & 2 people: €30.

Excursion tips for nature and culture fans
The sights of the small town are within easy reach of Donaupark Camping Tulln. One of these is Garten Tulln, a fascinating garden exhibition. Open during the summer months, the attraction features 70 show gardens. Here, garden fans can find inspiration for designing their own green oasis. Garten Tulln also has a lot to offer families: The playground in the shade of tall trees provides plenty of exercise. The 30 metre high treetop path, which offers a magnificent view of the Danube floodplains, is also very popular. If you want to get to know the holiday region in the west of Vienna from a different perspective, plan a boat trip. Another popular destination is the historic town of Krems, which is considered the gateway to the Wachau. If you enjoy cycling while camping in Lower Austria, the Danube Cycle Path offers a sporting challenge. Depending on your fitness level, you can cycle to the Altenwörth hydroelectric power station or further upstream to Krems. The town of Tulln is well known to culture fans because of the Schiele Museum. The exhibition in the artist's birthplace shows drawings and paintings by the remarkable painter in the former town prison. Tulln also offers excellent shopping opportunities. There are many supermarkets for self-catering and the Rosenarcade shopping centre with more than 50 shops. Wine lovers are drawn from Tulln to the nearby Wagram wine-growing region, where Grüner Veltliner in particular thrives on the loess soils.
