Donau Camping Krems

The spot is centrally located. The sanitary facilities were clean and brightly furnished. Unfortunately, there was no washing booth. The spots on the grass are small and cramped. We had a nice spot at the edge with a view of the Danube. I would gladly go again for a short vacation.

The campsite is located on a busy road. The spots are very small and tight. It's okay for one night; but I wouldn't vacation here.

Very small, narrow parking spaces. The situation is further exacerbated by the fact that cars are not parked in a uniform direction in each row. To be precise, it's a better parking space. No discount for ÖAMTC members?

Clean facility, friendly staff.

Clear camping site where everything is generally in order. The staff is helpful and nice, the sanitary facilities are fine, and there is a supermarket around the corner. However, there is no direct access to the Danube and if you are not in the front row, it cannot be seen. Additionally, the generator noises from the nearby cruise ships are very loud at night (passing ships are of course not a problem). We are generally not sensitive in this regard, but we were repeatedly awakened by the constant roaring of the generators.

Ideally located, Krems and Stein are within walking distance. The view of the Göttweig Abbey is fantastic. Very friendly and helpful operators.

Very friendly and absolutely helpful staff. The site is extremely well maintained and has a beautiful location by the Danube. Although there is no supermarket/store directly at the campsite, just a "kiosk" that sells drinks (coffee, wine, beer, etc.), you can order rolls for breakfast and the nearest supermarket (Hofer) is just across the street. Overall, the campsite (including for dogs) is really highly recommended; there is just one downside: the sanitary facilities are really clean (cleaned several times a day), and it's clear that this is a big priority, but the sanitary building itself is quite old and urgently needs a complete renovation. Overall, however, the price-performance ratio is very good and the campsite (despite the old sanitary area) is absolutely recommendable. We felt very comfortable.
