👍 Ideally located next to the Cadre Noir and the airfield, where we spent two evenings stargazing and also close to the Loire. There are many places to visit in Saumur and its nearby surroundings (tanks, cavalry and hippomobile museums, Saumur castle, churches, medicinal gardens ...). Many activities are offered in Saumur (open-air cinema, concerts, night market ...). Visits to Chinon with a medieval market, the royal abbey of Fontevraud, troglodyte villages, and the Bioparc of Doué-la-Fontaine. Location/Rental accommodation: A very well-situated place, in the forest, in the middle of the golf course, but really quiet. A barbecue is set up in the middle of the residences, to be shared among vacationers. Carts are provided to haul our luggage, which is very useful for getting from the parking lot to our accommodation.
