This small, pretty campsite features very friendly staff. There are many places to swim in the Verdon, even if you don’t book a site right by the river. The pitches are shaded by numerous trees. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities were not very clean (which also depends on the guests). Overall, it’s a dreamy area with many old mountain villages and scenic roads to explore. Many outdoor activities are possible (rafting, canyoning, hiking, ...).

Those who have made the winding journey along the somewhat narrow mountain roads will find a family-run campsite in a breathtaking location. The Verdon River flows right past the site, and hiking tours are also possible from there. The owners are always available to provide advice and assistance - whether you need tips for excursions or are looking for a car repair shop. From the site, all points of interest can be reached by car or by bus, which starts right at the campsite. A small downside: There could be more showers - you might find yourself waiting in line. During the summer holidays, the site is predominantly visited by French and Dutch families. We found it relatively noisy at the site, but we also had a relatively central pitch. However, it is quiet from 10:30 PM. We really enjoyed it and will definitely come back! A small tip: Don’t forget an inflatable boat or a float - you can drift along the entire campsite on the Verdon. Depending on the water level, there are some decent rapids... Our kids had a great time and never want to go to the sea again ;-)
