We came across this place by chance, as we wanted to spend a few days in DK beach vacation after a tour of Copenhagen. The site is located above a small steep coast and has direct access to the fine sandy beach via a small narrow staircase. Unfortunately, there had been strong winds and rain for several days before our arrival, causing a lot of seaweed to be washed up on the beach. If this hadn't been the case, we would have had a very nice beach. The water was very clear and there were hardly any stones in it. The campsite has everything you need. The sanitary facilities were sufficient in number and clean. They also seemed to have been recently renovated. There is a large common room with a kitchen area. The reception is open from 7am to 9pm, and the staff (speak Danish/English) were always friendly. There is a small kiosk available; shopping options are about 2km away. One searches in vain for restaurants nearby. There are many permanent campers at the site and, apart from a few exceptions, only Danish visitors.
