Set in the coastal forest of Marselisborg and just a few steps from the beach, DCU-Camping Blommehaven is perfect for a nature-oriented holiday close to the city. Quietly located on the outskirts of Aarhus, the campsite offers spacious pitches, simple cabins and plenty of activities for families. Children can play on playgrounds, bouncy castles or in the indoor playroom. Culture lovers can visit the Moesgaard Museum, Aarhus city centre or the harbour. Dog owners especially appreciate the dog shower after a day at the beach. Ideal for anyone wanting to combine nature and city experiences in one relaxing holiday.
This site is a nature experience - and yet the center of Aarhus is very close by.

Site
Natural wooded area divided by the waterfront road. The part of the site by the sea is tiered with medium-high hedges and occasional deciduous trees as well as a small stream. Towards the land side mostly open, terraced meadow area.
Access to water
Roughly 150 m long and 30 m wide coarse gravel beach with scattered rocks. With bathing jetty, below the cliff.

DCU Camping Aarhus Blommehaven. Somewhat good place, but way too large. Divided into beach and forest side. Beach with a pier, small and stony. A place for transit! Not suitable for people who like to shower!
We only spent one night with our camper there. The site was well occupied and there was a traffic jam at the registration. The area near Aarhus is great, especially if you have bicycles with you. Sanitary facilities, and especially the showers, leave much to be desired. For that, the price is too hi… More

Beautiful Campsite
Campsites by the water or in the woods. Sanitary facilities are older but clean. Ideal for visits to Aarhus.

Okay for a stopover...
Parcels separated by hedges, located on a slope towards the sea on the east side. Those who choose their spot in advance using the map, as well as spots 213 to 218 and all those to the right, can have a sea view; the best are 268 and possibly 269! Beautiful Campsite – We Felt Very Comfortable
Surroundings: The campsite is beautifully located. We had a spot by the water. There, you have a nice view of the Baltic Sea and direct access to the beach.
