The campsite has aged a bit but is currently undergoing extensive renovations. New, young operators who are very friendly and speak German. Small sandy beach. Nice terrace and sun terrace with free loungers and umbrellas. Price is €20 in the low season, including electricity and shower.

We were there for 2 days at the end of September and we overall enjoyed it. The site was nearly empty. We had free choice of spots and chose a spot directly by the sea/with sea view. The view is stunning. The spots are rather small, but totally sufficient and on sandy ground. You should definitely not forget mosquito spray at this time. The sanitary facilities are not luxurious and not entirely hygienic, but for us (with generally higher demands) it was okay. There is hot water. The facilities are regularly sprayed out with a water hose. As is often the case in Italy, there was no toilet paper available. There is a small restaurant and a kiosk on site where you can get the essentials and order rolls. About 1 km on foot, there is a Coop and more good restaurants.

Narrow access to the campsite. Friendly reception. With the camper, you can only park in the second row, and there must be space left for a tent in front. If you are unlucky, someone might set up a large tent, and you won't have a clear view anymore. We were lucky and were spared from this. The sanitary facilities are hosed down several times a day, so always have something extra to wipe the toilet seat with, and I cannot judge whether this meets hygiene standards. I always had a disinfectant wipe with me. No toilet paper and no soap in the toilets. However, there is hot water for showering available for free. The food in the restaurant is mediocre, but there is a good restaurant or a pizzeria above the site. Animation takes place from June to August. The show starts at 10:30 PM and is very well heard all over the site. Silence only sets in around 1 AM. So, for those seeking peace, it is more suitable in the pre- or post-season. The sea is clear and clean. You have a direct view of Stromboli.
