Conca D'Oro Camping & Lodge is located around 800 metres from Feriolo di Baveno, the nearest municipality in the region. The campsite belongs to the Italian region of Piedmont and is located in the far east of Lake Maggiore, just a few kilometres from the Swiss border. The site has a total of 272 parcelled pitches, which are between 70 and 90 m² in size and therefore offer enough space for families and groups of several people. On a total area of 6 hectares, there are also 50 rental accommodations and 15 pitches for permanent campers. The campsite is equipped with washing machines, tumble dryers, its own supermarket, a small snack bar and many other amenities that make a longer stay possible without any problems. Sporty guests can choose between rounds on the nearby golf course, boat trips on the lake or a varied sports programme on site, which includes guided hikes and bike tours. The Conca D'Oro Camping & Lodge has its own playground and various entertainment programmes for children. However, the biggest highlight of the site is the 600 metre long sandy beach, which is lined with sunbathing lawns. There is a very friendly and informal atmosphere at the campsite, thanks to which all holidaymakers will feel at home right from the start.

Tips for leisure activities in northern Italy

In addition to quiet and relaxing days on the picturesque sandy beach, there are many other attractive activities in the region. Hikes through the Alps are particularly popular, with the peaks of the Wasenhorn and Monte San Giorgio being favourite destinations. From up there, mountaineers can enjoy picturesque views over the mountains in the south of Switzerland and the north of Italy. Cycling tours along the lake or over the serpentine mountain slopes are also popular. Campers who enjoy discovering the cultural sights of the region can take a walk through Feriolo and visit the 13th century castle, for example. A little further away but always worth the journey is the metropolis of Milan with its world-famous marble cathedral.
