The friendly campsite in a privileged location by the Atlantic is Ireland's first carbon-neutral camping site. Thanks to the low light pollution in the surroundings, the starry sky can be observed excellently here. All pitches are in the natural, grass-covered dune area. Below is a wide sandy beach between rocks as well as another small bay on the quiet, fjord-like sea arm on the south side of the facility. The campsite is located on the Wild Atlantic Way. Important note for access: Last 400 meters are gravel road.
Emptying of wastewater tanks on the site is only allowed with green bio-sanitary additive.

Very natural place in the dunes. In nice weather, certainly beautiful. The spot is a challenge for campers with a pop-up roof in strong winds. The sanitary facilities are average but clean.

Beautiful, unspoiled, hilly location by the sea with a small sandy beach. Walking along the beach ends north after 300 meters at the 'No Trespassing' sign, and southward beach walking is only possible for those who can walk over water. The access route should urgently be 'graded', and the cattle grids should also be repaired.

The campsite lived up to its name at the end of October. Very exposed to the wind, but a super beautiful location. Very modest sanitary facilities. Because of the wind, we had to leave the campsite a day earlier, and we didn't get any money back, which was a pity as that really affected the otherwise good impression.
