Nice place but expensive!

The site is well located, but the spaces are quite small. The distance to the city center is wrong. It is about 15 km. A double room in the hotel here on the site costs 49,- €; the parking space for a camper is 52.50 per night. The campsite operators seem to have completely lost the right balance of price to performance.

Good Campsite for a Stopover in Berlin

We were there as a couple a few days ago. The location is good for exploring Berlin, the ground is gravel, and the plots were not large but sufficient for parking the camper. Electricity is directly at the site. The street on the other side of the canal bothered us quite a bit. We found breakfast to be quite expensive, but the rolls were very good.

Tegel Airport is closed 👋 No more flight noise. Nice campsite in the greenery, good public transport connection, very friendly reception and a lovely beer garden. We stayed here for 6 days with our camper van and would love to come back. Also suitable for large motorhomes.

Manageable Campsite by the Water, Surrounded by Green on the Edge of Berlin

Very nice reception at the reception desk. Unfortunately, only cash payments are accepted. The groundskeeper showed us the available spots. There is Wi-Fi reception, but the quality depends on the chosen site. There is a washhouse separated for men and women. The men's section has 4 showers, 3 toilets, and two urinals. Unfortunately, there are no storage options in the showers. Only a hook and a net on the door. It is currently cleaned twice daily. Waste and disposal facilities are available and easily accessible. In summer, there is a small beer garden. Roll service and breakfast (sweet or hearty) is also available. The distance to the city center of Berlin (downtown) by public transport is long and complicated, with many transfers. The path from the campsite to the bus stop is unfortunately unlit, about 800m. There is also a bike path to the city, which we did not test. A bus regularly travels to Spandau itself. In the evening, you can hear the street across the way. This could disturb sensitive ears. The site is cozy for a short stop and offers everything one needs. I would not want to spend a two-week holiday here.

Great Campsite

Very good8

October 2018

The location is incredibly beautiful on a peninsula, quite idyllic. A bit noisy with the air traffic, but you get used to it. The camp operators are very nice, kind, and uncomplicated. The sanitary facilities are small, neat, and clean. The campsite is small and cozy, not really subdivided, but there is enough space. Connections are available. You don’t feel like you’re in a big city since the site is surrounded by nature. Shopping centers are nearby, but you don’t notice them. We traveled with a caravan and will come back.

Since the Wohnmobiloase could not accommodate us with the caravan, we had to quickly find another parking space for one night after our concert on Friday afternoon. The City Camping site welcomed us wonderfully and completely unbureaucratically in our emergency, despite the fact that the site was already well occupied. The location directly by the Spree is great, beautifully situated under trees, and the sanitary facilities are very clean and well maintained. We would love to come back again!

Cheap but Noisy from Airplanes

Inexpensive spot near Berlin-Spandau. Simple, but clean. You can quickly get to the city using public transportation. Since the spot is in hearing and sight distance of a runway at Tegel Airport, you need earplugs if you want to sleep longer than until 6:00 AM.
