The Tres Estrellas Mediterráneo campsite near Valencia on the Spanish Mediterranean coast is the ideal retreat for sun worshippers and active holidaymakers. There is so much to see and discover around the campsite. An exploration tour of the area around the Tres Estrellas Mediterráneo campsite starts in the village of Xilxes. The picturesque Costa del Azahar is lined with traditional villages and sleepy little towns. Spain's third largest city, Valencia, is 42.5 kilometres away. Here, unique sights such as the former city gate, the Gothic cathedral and the San Miguel de los Reyes monastery beckon. 145 km north of Valencia, you will come across the coastal town of Peniscola, which attracts visitors with its historic town centre perched on a rock. In between are Castello de la Plana and Vilafamés. Beautiful landscapes await visitors in the nearby Desierto de las Palmas and Prat de Cabanes-Torreblanca nature parks, which are best explored on a hike.
