The location directly by the Chiemsee is fantastic. However, that's where the positives end. The federal road is heavily trafficked, resulting in a constant noise backdrop 24/7. The plots seem too small to me, and depending on the space, a lot of maneuvering is required (for caravans). During peak times, there are far too few toilets available. The pizzeria was closed, so the only option was to eat out or take away. The price-performance ratio is rather poor. A processing fee of 10 euros is deducted from the deposit. For whatever reason. I've never encountered this with an advance reservation. It's outrageous. Even the view of the water doesn't make up for it.

This campsite should be avoided at all costs. If they are not serious even with the deposit process, how will they behave during a stay? I had made a reservation and paid a deposit. Unfortunately, I had to cancel within the required time due to illness. I was then informed that I could book again next year. Unfortunately, after a heart attack, that is no longer possible. I then requested a refund of the proportional amount. This was not done without any comment. This is truly bad style, so definitely avoid.

Beautifully idyllic camping site right by the lake. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. It's important to mention that it is also very dog-friendly. Between the two adjoining sites, there is a dog beach with plenty of space to romp.

The campsite is very beautifully located right by Lake Chiemsee, which is especially pleasant in good weather. Unfortunately, there is a busy road running right next to it, which somewhat disturbs the idyll - especially at night, it is quite loud. The entrance to the site is extremely narrow, which is problematic for larger cars with caravans. Although XL pitches were available and not fully booked at the time of my stay, none were offered to me despite my inquiry. The sanitary facilities were in good condition and cleaned regularly. The staff, on the other hand, seemed rather unfriendly and unhelpful. Overall, the stay was fine, but I wouldn't visit the site again.

We were at this beautiful campsite with the whole family and dog. Everything was super. The location, the hospitality, the owner. We can only recommend the place!!! Our little lab has pleased the boss so much that we didn't even have to pay for her. We laughed a lot with the boss when she nudged the dressed-up Easter bunny by the tail.

We had reserved the place for 2 nights. Deposit 100,-€. The 2 nights would have cost 52,-€ and it was said that it would be deducted from the deposit. And the rest refunded. On the way back from the south, we would have liked to spend another 2 days there. Unfortunately, our daughter became seriously ill at home, and we had to cut our vacation short. The cancellation took place 5 days before arrival. When asked to refund our deposit, we were told briefly - not possible, the paid amount (100€) will be withheld. We did not receive any invoice. It would have been fine for us if the place price (52€), which the 2 nights would have cost, had been deducted, but not the whole 100€. We paid double for NOTHING!. This is pure extortion. The requested deposit is always higher than the booked price - that is a scheme!!!

No idea why there are so many negative reviews here. My husband and I have genuinely been to many places in the last 10 years, but this one is something special. Sure, the spots are not large, but this allows many people to find shelter as well. The location by the lake is unique. Incredibly beautiful view. The road is very close, but somehow you need to get there, and the question is whether such a road should be so close to the lake. For us, however, the place is optimal. We were here with the car and roof tent to go cycling (one night, spontaneously, just arrived) the staff during our stay was incredibly friendly and helpful. The sanitation facilities were clean and of high quality. Super price. Other places on the Chiemsee are similar, but definitely of a different level. Keep it up. So we will come back. Thank you.

Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this campsite at all. The sanitary facilities were completely overcrowded, cramped, and the showers were cold. The site is overall very tight and not at all recommended for larger vehicles (ours is 7m). The handling on-site for arrival and departure is very poorly organized and not at all friendly. The camping butler swallows euros, and when mentioning it, the only response is, we can’t do anything about that. There is a loud noise level from the adjacent federal road. The Chiemsee was the only positive experience we had there. Overall, it was an extremely disappointing experience at this site, and we will definitely not come back.
