Cheltenham Racecourse Caravan Club Site

The name says it all: you are camping right next to one of the largest racecourses in the Midlands! Equestrian sports shape the entire atmosphere of the campsite. If you are lucky, you can experience the action up close. An absolute highlight for horse lovers and curious visitors alike.

You have a choice here: some of the 80 pitches are located on a slightly higher, gently sloping grassy area from which you can enjoy a great panoramic view. The other part is laid out like a car park on a lower asphalt surface – super practical and stable in any weather.

Since some of the grass pitches are gently sloping, you should definitely pack levelling ramps to perfectly align your motorhome or car with caravan. If you prefer it absolutely flat and uncomplicated, the paved asphalt pitches are an excellent, weatherproof alternative for you.

Since prices vary depending on the season and the campsite is currently not bookable directly via PiNCAMP, you should keep an eye on your travel dates. The following cost factors are important for your planning:

• Pitch fee including electricity connection (16 amps)
• Dogs are allowed, a small fee may apply
• Wi-Fi is available throughout the campsite
• Sanitary facilities (showers and toilets) and disposal stations are included in the price
• ADAC Campcard: Check in advance if discounts are available for your travel dates.

The journey is super relaxed thanks to the location close to the highway, even with a larger car with caravan. On site, you benefit from 16-amp electricity connections. For the grass pitches, we recommend sturdy pegs and levelling ramps. Emptying waste water and chemical toilets is easy thanks to the fully equipped stations.

There is no restaurant directly on the campsite, but you are very well connected. A large supermarket is only about 4 km away. For a cosy evening in a restaurant or a shopping trip, you can reach the beautiful town centre of Cheltenham after just 2 km – perfect for a short excursion!

Absolutely! For guests with reduced mobility, there is an accessible sanitary cabin for wheelchair users. Your four-legged friend is also very welcome on the grounds. Thanks to the spacious surroundings around the racecourse, there is plenty of space for long walks with your dog.
