Chadotel Camping La Bolée d'Air

We spent one week in July and one and a half weeks in August with our caravan. The campsite is mainly oriented towards the French, and activities are also conducted only in French. There is a nice playground and a decent swimming pool with a slide. It is a bit small considering the size of the campsite, but typically there is space available since towel reservation is hardly done. There is a good snack bar for takeaway. It's only 1 km from the sea, easily accessible by bike. Just turn right from the campsite and go straight for 5 minutes. You need to be lucky with your pitch. We had plenty of shade, but you can also find spots that are completely in the sun. After August 1, there is an influx of French visitors. We didn’t have any issues, although the toilet building was sometimes left dirty, which isn't the fault of the cleaning staff, but rather the users! Cleaning happens in the morning around 07:30 and late afternoon around 17:00/18:00. In good condition, remember to bring your own roll of toilet paper or use the Torx paper provided. One downside is that the shower temperature cannot be adjusted. Large supermarkets nearby.

An additional pool would be a great bonus for this establishment.

The location of the mobile home is excellent, with numerous bingo evenings and a bouncy castle for the children. The housing arrangement is well thought out: the terrace and the distribution of the bedrooms are really commendable.

Cons

The cleaning was not done properly: we found hair in the shower, forgotten medications in a cabinet, and a sofa that was too old, shedding small bits of faux leather constantly. There was dust under the beds. The internet was no longer provided as usual, despite being clearly stipulated in the general conditions mentioned in the leaflet presented at reception. There are no more mussels and fries evenings. The entertainment activities are the same every year. Accommodation: the sofa should not be there in this condition.

The campsite is very well maintained, the staff is pleasant, and it is well located. Location/Rental accommodation: Spacious mobile home, large private plot, very clean.

Location/Rental accommodation: The amount of dishes in the mobile home is too limited: 6 forks, 6 plates, etc. for 6 people is just not enough. A toaster is missing.

Everyone was very nice and friendly, the location of the campsite is also very good, the sanitary facilities are very good. Pitch/accommodation rental: pitch with electricity, a nice shady spot.
