A very nice small and quiet spot on the outskirts of Petrila, offering a beautiful view of the Parang Mountains. The garden has space for about 10 motorhomes; the approach is a bit hidden but well signposted. The host is very friendly and helpful, and gladly assists with organizing guided hikes. I am currently at the site and enjoying the lovely surroundings that invite long hikes in pristine nature. The view from the pitch of the sunrise behind the Parungul mountain range, where remnants of snow are still visible, is incredibly beautiful. The campsite is a private garden, very well-maintained, and offers, in addition to heavenly peace, a fully covered outdoor kitchen available to all guests. Electricity and water are included in the price, with a shower and toilet in the house. From here, the surrounding area can be explored on foot or by bike. The host is very friendly and available to offer advice and assistance. She knows the mountains like the back of her hand and is happy to recommend hiking guides. Dogs are allowed.
