Very beautiful campsite, everything gives a very good impression, especially the sanitary facilities, although we must honestly say that we had booked a private bathroom. You do not expect such good, high-quality gastronomic services at a campsite. Also, the shopping possibilities for necessities are available and sufficient. The only drawback for us was that you are actually too far from the village of Sexten. Sure, public transportation runs regularly, but a short evening stroll in a beautiful village like Sexten is not possible here.

The location of the site with a view of the mountains is very beautiful, the swimming pool on the site is also nicely done, however, you have to choose either a 1.5-hour or a 3-hour ticket. There is an 11-ticket which is personal and thus cannot be shared between 2 people, making it pointless for short stays. Unfortunately, there are no other offers, here it only counts to get the guests to reach into their wallets. What is supposed to be worth 5 stars here is a mystery to us, since €45 per day without electricity and everything else costs extra, it is far from 5 stars. The cassette emptying is either possible for €2 via the machine or through a small pipe in the ground where you have to be careful not to get splashed while emptying. The disposal is an absolute no-go and by far the worst I have seen in all this time. You were only informed about construction noise after booking. 1 star.

We were there for the second time - both in October - at this campsite. It is noticeable that the occupancy has risen from around 60% to now 100% in the same period. It is very crowded, and you can feel it in all areas (swimming pool, sauna, restaurants, ...). There is basically nothing to add to the previous reviews, they are all largely correct. I would like to add two things. To be charged €5 for a sauna towel is quite cheeky. When I wanted to use the same sauna towel again the next day - I had taken it the day before - I was charged another €5 again. That is rude! A note regarding the sauna infusions. These are accompanied by music from a Bluetooth speaker. The sauna mistress does this quite nicely with soft classical music. That is relaxing! The young sauna master, on the other hand, completely overdoes it. Extremely loud, awful music with heavy bass. That is not relaxation! That is not sauna!

The site is beautifully located in the Dolomites and has a good starting point for numerous hikes and/or bike tours. A bus line regularly goes to Sexten as well as various cable cars and starting points for hikes (bus tickets are free at the reception). There is a small supermarket on the site with an excellent offer of local products. Additionally, there is an on-site restaurant with a fairly upscale dining option and a pizzeria. The absolute highlight is the alpine sauna landscape with many different saunas, great infusions, etc. Yes, it’s not cheap - but not more expensive than at home in Germany either. We had a very nice pitch right by the forest and stream. The sanitary facilities were adequate and spotlessly clean. The price-performance ratio was completely okay (with the exception of the bike rental).

We can only partially understand the positive reviews. Sanitary: At least in the lower area (Crystal Bath) it is dark, musty, and smelling of house rot. The number of toilets and showers, with only 4 each, is far too low. The lamp installation in the showers is life-threatening; an electrician should be banned from the profession for this. Pool: The swimming pool is not one, but a paddling pool for non-swimmers and children. The two whirlpools are dimensioned too small for the number of guests at the site. Restaurants: We liked the tavern. Here the price and performance were right. This was different in the restaurant on the ground floor. We are happy to pay well for good food. We paid 260 Euros for four people and received a risotto that's more than just chewy, cold lamb, and an almost raw duck breast... Here the expectations and reality were definitely not aligned. Overall site: The site itself is very nice with mostly partitioned pitches, beautiful creek courses, and dog stations everywhere.

The place is way too expensive for what it offers… 2 people with swimming pool for 3 hours, electricity and tourist tax for 1 night costs €83.50, that's insane and the place is very loud as it is right next to the street.. the staff at the reception is not particularly friendly.

The site itself is beautifully located and suitable for hiking. However, the additional costs are extremely overpriced. Charging nearly €5 for a stingy piece of cake, without pricing it like many other products (deliberately), indicates rip-off. When you’re already at the checkout, you usually don’t return it. The prices in the establishments are very exaggerated. In principle, we would have liked it; the dogs felt good until shortly before departure, the walking and hiking trails are great, but the finale was the wedding on Saturday from 4:30 PM to 3 AM. Upon arrival, we got a spot right next to the barn for celebrations but were not informed about the wedding. Conclusion: We were constantly blasted by loud music and shouting people. We have a fearful dog that squeaked and shrieked completely in a rage because of the constant honking. Thank you for that! She was completely exhausted. A place further away would have avoided all this. We were awake all night; I hoped for 2.5 hours that it would be the last song. I could hear the lyrics word for word. The bass contributed its part. Great that people even danced in front of the car and ‘nail-gunned’ at 2 AM. If I want to party, I would stand right in the middle of Oktoberfest. That’s not worse either. We really wanted peace and relaxation, which is what the mountains are for. Upon departure, there was no concession. They thought we were dumb; they would have told us. Yeah, right. Apparently, we have something wrong with our ears? If they had told us, we would have definitely chosen another spot because we know how they react to such tumult. And: celebrations were supposedly only once or twice a year. Right, that’s why the barn exists. Don’t sell us for fools. An absolute disgrace, and they want to be a leading spot. Funny. I would have given my customers a night for free in such a case. But apparently, that’s financially not possible for the site. Poor customer service and really sad. There’s a huge hype around this place. One gets the impression that you ‘have’ to think it’s great. Honestly? I also initially thought it ‘had’ to be great, it ‘is’ great. Yes, it has positive aspects, but the customer service and friendliness of the staff leave much to be desired. Here, only what’s at the end of the day in the cash register counts. No more and no less. If the park didn’t have its spa, it wouldn’t be worth 2 stars.
