Simple, clean camping in a fantastic location with many trees (shaded spots). Great for visiting Prague!!!

The site was very beautiful and clean, the staff were friendly, and the location is perfect. The ferry ride across the Vltava to get from the island to the city is definitely a must. The only downside was the showers. You have to choose times when you can shower as much as possible alone, otherwise, there may not be any hot water left, or the water pressure is only sufficient for a trickle. But other than that, the sanitary facilities are clean and tidy.

In 2018 as well as in 2022, the place was clean. The showers and toilets were too. Good connection to the city via a small ferry. It was free in 2018, now a crossing costs as much as a tram ticket. But still affordable. I will come again in 2023.

Too expensive for what is offered. The advantage is the proximity to Prague. To get to the city, you can either take a ferry or bike around for about 5 km on a heavily trafficked road. The shower (technology from 40 years ago) swallowed a chip, but it was possible to get a new chip. On the way to the site, there are trees you cannot avoid, brushing against the roof of the camper. You can park well on grass next to or under tall trees. There is only one fresh water tap near the reception. No waste disposal.

Great location on a small island in the Vltava. You can quickly get to the center by ferry. The sanitary facilities are not very nice. They are rarely cleaned. The faucets are loose and leaky.

Small parking space directly on the Vltava River on an island. Mosquitoes!! Great connection to tram and bus. We did not see the small ferry... Payment only in cash!! Toilets are great! Showers are only as a communal kitchen and with fluctuating water pressure.

Only the centrally located site with the special charm of the ferry recommends this place. The site is completely run down. The dishwashing area is a disaster, full of spiders, water taps defective, completely filthy. British travelers vandalized during quiet hours. The campsite management does nothing against it. Our neighbors were robbed at night, motorhome broken into. No police available. Just get away from here. P.S. There are two campsites on this peninsula. The southern site seems to be a bit better.

Only the relatively close location to the center of Prague makes this place interesting. You can take a small boat from the island across the river and then take the tram into the city. Unfortunately, this boat only operates until 8:00 PM. The reception is only staffed from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and does not speak German, only English. For longer stays, the place is not suitable. A warm shower is included, but it's a matter of luck. For me, it worked three times out of three attempts. Other guests had less luck. Some ended up with a cold shower. In the restroom for ladies, as my wife tells me, there is basically nothing really in order. The faucets are loose and calcified, and the water doesn't drain in the shower. The ground is described as flat, which is not entirely true. There are small bumps and holes all over the place. So overall, for me, it’s not a nice place.
