Everything is clean and nice. Our pitch was already equipped with artificial grass. This is ideal especially when it rains for a few days, no water problems in the tent and it dries quickly.

Beautiful place with a great view but the operator was very unfriendly.

We were there for a week in early October 22 with a large caravan and were pleasantly surprised. Very well maintained, well equipped. Campground spaces vary in size, ours was a bit tight for our fairly large caravan, but we were able to park the car in an available space across the way. Friendly and helpful owners. The surrounding area is very diverse, many bike paths, and very well-marked hiking trails around Mettingen. A tip is also the hike to the Dorenther cliffs nearby. The town of Tecklenburg with its well-maintained old town is also worth a visit. The sanitary facilities are not top modern, but clean and well-kept, bringing your own toilet paper, as written here, is not necessary. We would be happy to come back.

Two years ago I actually just wanted to stay for one night while passing through, but I ended up staying almost 3 weeks. And since then, I come back every year. The campsite is located in breathtakingly beautiful nature. There are many opportunities for hiking, biking, and also larger cities in the vicinity where you can have experiences. There is a heated pool that can be covered depending on the weather. For the kids, there is also a large playground beside the pool. In the restaurant, there are drinks and delicious food. The site is very well kept. The sanitary facilities are clean. I always feel comfortable here. I will continue to come back in the coming years.

Dreamlike view. Very well-maintained campsite with a very well-maintained pool as well. Bread roll service, moderate Wi-Fi, nice and quiet, pets NOT allowed, actually everything is great....... just the sanitary facilities are definitely from the seventies, unfortunately. They could also be better maintained. That you have to bring your own toilet paper is certainly no longer contemporary. Cable for electricity should be at least 20 meters. The caretaker is also the host in the campsite pub and checks in and out every single guest..... So it could take a little while. (For whatever reason, there is no socket per site) Not suitable for large motorhomes, as the access roads are rather narrow. (Best to ask beforehand) We are traveling with a caravan and will probably go there again (sooner or later, the toilets and showers will surely be renovated into the 21st century).

The campsite was not yet ready for the season and you could not stay by the caravan with the car. Many long-term guests. Suitable for passing through.
