The site is located in a very quiet area. Upon arrival, we wouldn't have minded a friendly smile from the owner. Apart from rolls in the morning, there are no significant amenities at the site. However, there is a supermarket about 1 km away. There is no restaurant available, but that is no problem

Small, well-located site, the site is family-run and there is a bread roll service at the reception, the playground is small but adequate for younger children. The somewhat older sanitary building was clean at all times.

We had a wonderful stay at this small and uncomplicated site. Dreamy pitch by the mountain stream. An absolute recommendation. The sanitary facilities are tidy and clean.

Thanks to its outstandingly beautiful location in the middle of the Berchtesgaden mountains, the Winkl-Landthal campsite in Berchtesgaden is a hit with nature lovers and active holidaymakers. As the site is open all year round, winter sports enthusiasts and snow lovers also get their money's worth.
The cosy campsite offers around 80 pitches and 7 rental accommodations on 2.5 hectares. Most of the pitches have electricity and when booking the comfort facilities, additional services such as emptying water tanks and toilets are included. The on-site kiosk provides guests with items for everyday use, and from May to September a bread roll service is available. The Winkl-Landthal campsite also caters well for families thanks to its playground. Dogs are also very welcome. The spectacular location in the midst of majestic mountain peaks and surrounded by lush forests makes it the first choice for hikers, connoisseurs and mountain bikers. Ski resorts such as the Steinerne Agnes or Götschen are only a few kilometres away from the campsite and make interesting activities in the Alps possible. Picturesque Berchtesgaden is also just 3 kilometres away, where, like Bad Reichenhall with its thermal spas, great spa facilities await. Even more nature awaits campers in the Berchtesgaden National Park, 20 km to the south, including the sublime Königssee lake. A day trip to the Mozart city of Salzburg, 20 kilometres away, is also easily possible. Here, visitors are rewarded with unique sights such as Mozart's birthplace or the Hohensalzburg Fortress.
