A very nicely located campsite, if it weren't for all the camper ruins, with old caravans in varying states of decay. The plots are so cluttered with wooden structures that it raises the question of what camping even means here. It seems there is no fire safety in place.

Beautifully located place not far from Frielingsdorf and Lindlar (shopping opportunities). Embedded between forests and meadows and a good starting point for hiking. During our stay, the sanitary facilities were renovated but could still be used to some extent. It was clean and well-maintained despite the renovation work. In the immediate vicinity, for example, Gimborn Castle, the Eibach Castle ruins, and an open-air museum in Lindlar. Very friendly operator. A nice starting point to explore the Oberbergische, for hiking - even with a dog 🐶.

Very nice reception, friendly and helpful owner, great pitch. The sanitary facilities are a bit old but clean. The ground is very stony, but somehow you always manage to get the tent pegs into the ground ;-) But it's better to bring more suitable tent pegs! All in all, a lovely stay :-)
