We were at the site for the second time since 2020. The staff is very friendly and addresses the concerns of the campers. Despite the high season, the sanitary facilities are clean, although a bit outdated. The site itself is well-maintained and clean. The small kiosk at the site offers everything you need quickly, including fresh rolls in the morning. For larger shopping, there are supermarkets nearby that are easily accessible by car or bike. The beach at Duhnen is only a few meters away, which is very convenient for us with a small child. But otherwise, Cuxhaven and its attractions are quickly accessible by bus or bike. The only thing that bothered us a bit were the quiet hours, especially in the evening, that were not always respected.

A great, smaller place with very nice operators. We were extremely warmly welcomed and shown to our reserved comfort pitch. This had water, wastewater, electricity, and satellite connection. The entire site is extremely clean and well-maintained, the sanitary building is somewhat older but always impeccably cleaned. They have everything you need. A shop with fresh rolls and a small restaurant is also included. The location right behind the dike is fantastic and invites you to walk or cycle. Conclusion: Good value for money with an extremely nice relaxation atmosphere and tranquility that contributes to relaxation. Special compliments to Julius Brütt, who always had an open ear. Thank you and we will gladly come back.

We received the recommendation for the spot from acquaintances. The reviews also appealed to us. So we booked a premium spot for 44 € per night for 2 weeks. Prepayment was 200 €. At that point, I wanted to cancel. What if one gets sick beforehand? Then the money is gone. The next surprise followed upon check-in. For 2 people, around 110 € in visitor's tax had to be paid in cash in advance. Our parking spot wasn't bad, as this area was only 50% occupied. But after 2 days, the hustle began. Many motorhomes used the spot for a short duration. Some arrived just before the start of the afternoon rest and then maneuvered back and forth for what felt like an eternity until their vehicle was perfectly positioned. Then the hammering began. Awning out, everything secured. Chairs and tables were taken out with a lot of noise involved. After the afternoon rest, the next ones arrived. Same procedure. This continued into the evening. Many also brought their dogs with them. The barking all day long was added to this. Just when one thought it would get quiet. Not a chance. Some had agreed to meet there and then celebrated their reunion extensively until long after midnight. And in the morning from 7:00 a.m. it started again. There was rummaging, packing up, and loud discussions until finally, the first ones started. As a precaution, we had stocked up on fresh rolls, so those who had been there longer no longer got any from 8:00 a.m. onwards. We then pre-ordered some, so at least we could have breakfast peacefully from 9:30 a.m. onwards. Then we were also disturbed by the many rabbits. There were holes everywhere. One had to be careful not to twist an ankle there. Since the area was poorly lit at night, one always got startled when a rabbit suddenly jumped in front of you on the way to the toilet. Some also spent the night on the carpets in front of the caravan and left their droppings there. Before one knew it, one stepped on this in the caravan and spread it on the carpet. And in the following days, this whole scenario repeated itself with arrivals and departures. There was no thought of peace. We were really glad when our vacation finally ended. Whether we will come here again, we do not yet know. The only positive was the proximity to the water and the town. Not to forget the toilets. There was nothing to complain about.

We have been there several times now and we are always thrilled. The operators and all the staff are super nice. Always trying to give everything that is possible. 2 bathhouses that are always very clean and well-maintained. The small kiosk has everything you need, from fresh rolls to whatever else a person might need, even freshly tapped beer and twice a week freshly roasted chicken. The proximity to the beach is ideal, just across the street and you're there! Our favorite spot! We would love to give 5 stars ⭐️!

We spent 12 days at this beautiful place. We know many campgrounds, and this one is by far the best we have ever had. Starting from the exceptional friendliness and helpfulness of the entire Brütt family from the first contact via email to our departure. We received a large premium pitch with all the comforts. Very conveniently, there was a water and wastewater connection directly at the site. There was even our own LAN connection. We could pre-order rolls, and a small selection of well-sorted groceries was available from the nice staff. The beach is in close proximity; you just have to walk across the street. Along the well-kept promenade, there are very nice local eateries for every taste. Delicious cakes, small snacks to upscale cuisine. Unreservedly, the friendly staff is everywhere there as well. So, it is a place that comes highly recommended. We will be returning very soon. :)

A really great little campsite. Well-equipped sites 5 stars The super campsite team 10 🌟 Restaurant and kiosk 5 stars The chicken on Saturdays 8 stars 100m to the sandy beach 5 stars Location to the village where everything is possible to spend leisure time 5 stars Bike tours for inexperienced riders 5 stars Bus or beach tram to Cuxhaven To the Old Love 5 stars. I’d better stop now or it will get too crowded here. All in all: We've been here 3 times already and it keeps getting better. But: the very nice cleaning ladies clean at a time when others would like to shower multiple times a day, which is a bit annoying. Haha, I finally found something to complain about. This campsite is definitely recommendable.
