They overcharged me. I paid within the 24-hour period, only noticed the mistake afterward. No refund despite multiple attempts to contact. They do not respond to emails. When calling or making personal contact at the reception, you only encounter incompetent staff. The manager was supposedly always elsewhere, unreachable.

For the Caravan Fair D'dorf 2024, I had booked a pitch early on. I had to pay the full amount immediately. For personal reasons, I had to cancel my visit to the fair and I canceled 3.5 months (!) before the visit. The response was: Total amount is due even in case of no-show (incl. the accommodation tax). I found it inappropriate. In several emails, I then asked for a bit more leniency: I understand this in case of a last-minute cancellation, BUT: - canceled 3.5 months in advance - Caravan Fair in D‘dorf = Peak season - The weather was also great on that date If they were unable to rent the place??? I had offered that a reasonable processing fee be deducted, that would be okay for their organizational effort. No replies to my emails, no callbacks, nothing! It can't be more unfriendly. I will certainly never inquire there again.

We personally visited the site 1 week before arrival and chose a pitch, making a reservation for 7 days directly at the reception via form. Even then, we noticed that some campers had difficulties with their bookings. As booked, we arrived and set up. The next morning, an employee came and asked when we intended to pack up. Our answer was in 1 week as booked. According to the system, the plot had been newly rented, and we had to leave within the next 2 hours. Our reservation form could not be found (we did not receive a copy). We had no choice but to leave after 1 night. Another guest had an email regarding a reservation of a houseboat. This booking was not in the system, and the houseboat was not prepared. He too had to leave again. Pure chaos. The site is not great to tolerate all of this.

Very nice staff. 👌🏻 I must say. Bread roll service 👌🏻 North area very clean facility 👌🏻 Sanitary facilities (showers) 👌🏻 Toilets could be more modern. Large campsite areas had 👌🏻 8,9,10 - paddle boating in the harbor possible, restaurant for eating (a bit too expensive) the only negative and disappointing was the north beach. Disaster. The ducks practically have the say and mark their territory accordingly. Like on the beach, on the meadow as well as in the water 🤤 also algae don't help either. If the beach and water were clean then I would have simply given 5 stars. Too bad it was otherwise for us fathers and children another adventure 👌🏻 Maybe the beach area can be optimized. It would be an added value.

Positive: Nice location Negative: -Mainly permanent campers who are not particularly friendly to tourists. -Dogs allowed for a fee. Our dog urinated on a grass patch, immediately reprimanded by a permanent camper, shortly thereafter also by a lady from the reception, who appeared trembling with anger. -Dogs of permanent campers are no problem. -Beach hardly walkable due to goose droppings. Similar to dog poop, completely polluted. -Ground completely fenced off, access with a chip. Outside of opening hours (until 6 PM) entry and exit with a motorhome is not possible. Only pedestrians! On the 2nd DAY site change due to wrong site No. 9...about 30 meters further is allegedly another site No. 9 (no signage, on a meadow) according to some other tourist campers we were lucky. The leader had to change 4 times in one week. -Sanitary facilities completely outdated. Since we have had only positive experiences at many other places, both with tourist campers and permanent campers, we are happy to forgo this site.

Had to cancel due to illness and had to pay 100% cancellation fees, including unused electricity costs. Despite the complaint, there was no willingness to compromise. Comment: THIS IS A NO-GO. Electricity costs did not incur at all. MY PLACE IS ON THE BLACKLIST.

Heavily disappointed… One stands on a parking lot in front of the campsite on the north side of the lake, which is mostly used by cars or as a long-term parking lot for campers. For that, for two people with a dog, it costs 84.00 euros, from our perspective, the price-performance ratio does not fit...

great location by the lake, so far so good. Campsites mostly tiny, with extended awnings or tents you almost bump into your neighbors. Sanitary facilities at least 30 years old, some significantly older.. Cleaning staff only present a maximum of once a day even in high season, condition accordingly. Reception staff hopelessly overwhelmed with the job, long waiting times even if it's just for rolls.. no arrivals possible after 18:30, site closed, you can only stay overnight on the street in front of the gate.. it can (clearly) be better.
