Very nice place. City train and many opportunities. Hiking trails and bike paths. The area is lovingly designed. Sanitary area is simple but clean. We can confidently recommend the site. Additionally, it is affordable for the city-close location.

So when I read some of the reviews... We arrived at the site for one night on June 14, 2023. We were 2 people with a dog and a car with a 6 meter caravan. We were greeted warmly and were allowed to choose a spot on a very well-kept area. 11 € per person x2 plus the dog resulted in just 23 € ⏳⏳ This includes hot showers, fresh water filling, toilets, waste disposal, etc. The toilets may be older, but everything is clean. The whole site is neat and well-maintained. I don't understand why some still choose to rate it so negatively for 11 €. Sometimes I would like to see how they live at home. I'll leave out the great recreational opportunities next to the site. We will definitely come back 100 %. All the best to the owner 🤗.

We are thrilled with how much love for detail the campsite is equipped. There are many seating options distributed throughout the area. The sanitary facilities are older but clean. It's great to take a bike tour to Weimar from here, and those who want can return by train. Taking bicycles on the train is free. Both Jena and Weimar are worth seeing. One point deduction only because the sanitary facilities are really old. However, the amenities match the overall atmosphere.
