+ Beautiful location + Chemical toilet cleaning perfect + Nice people in grocery sales - Large construction site next door, constant noise from 7-18, even on Saturday, no indication from the campsite. It was acoustically hell.

A pleasant overnight stay on a rainy September day. Sanitation facilities good, kiosk excellent, restaurant good, very short walk from the pitches to the long sandy beach. In summer, definitely a great place to relax.

Unfortunately, we were only passing through for one night, but we will definitely come back again. The well-maintained campsite is located directly at the bathing lake, with a great playground for the children. The sanitary facilities are clean and well-maintained, there are good food offerings and a nicely sorted shop. We felt very comfortable and were sad that we were only here for one night. We will gladly come back.

The best campsite 🏕 😍 It's really beautiful here at the campsite. That's why we are returning visitors. Last year we spent a few days here and we were already impressed by how the necessary hygiene regulations are implemented here in Kahl. You really feel very safe. Everywhere there are hand sanitizing stations, and every other sink in the washhouse is closed off, maintaining the required safety distance. And of course, the washhouses can only be entered with a mouth-nose mask. So here you really don't need to have any concerns. Otherwise, the grocery store is currently being renovated. It seems to me much larger now and will probably reopen in mid-July. At the beach, there is currently a grill cart where you can get delicious sausages, fries, and hamburgers. You could also buy fresh fruits and vegetables from the region at one stand. The campsite has many permanent camper sites. In the tourist area, there is a relatively new washhouse. The showers are great and it's nice and warm there. At the entrance of the campsite, there is a mini-golf course with a beer garden and a great Italian restaurant with very good cuisine and a very large outdoor terrace. All in all, it was a really great vacation. The staff is super friendly and helpful. We felt completely comfortable. We will come back. Thaaaaaank you 👋

Booking a spot and the registration went smoothly. Everyone was friendly. The spot was nice with electricity near the washroom and the lake. Nice kiosk operator with a great view and fair prices. We left on Saturday, but unfortunately, we couldn't get back in despite video recognition. No one at the reception and the emergency call went to voicemail. We were not the only ones with this problem when exiting and re-entering. A nice permanent camper opened the barrier for us with his card. During the time from Friday afternoon to Sunday morning we did not see any cleaning staff in the washroom. It looked that way as well. But someone at least stocked paper towels and sandpaper as toilet paper. I find that unacceptable for the price. Still, we will probably come back and bring our own toilet paper.

Hello, I can recommend the Kahl am Main campsite on the border of Bavaria. I am here for the third time with my child. Great friendly people, 2 km beach, great snack bar, playground on the beach. In the water, there are large and small inflatable castles, floating trampolines, and inflatable slides. Kayaks and stand-up paddles are available. I only came here with a tent and hope to come here with a caravan someday. I can only recommend it, there is also security.

I was only there for 3 days, but it was perfect to briefly switch off. All the "neighbors" were very nice and late in the evening it was quite peaceful! Kahl is only 30 minutes away from me, but it felt like a real vacation! Would love to do it again (:
