Campingplatz Tiemanns Hof

When standing on the rear lawn - as we did twice - the paths to the washrooms and the lake are relatively far away. However, it is very quiet and relaxing there (during the Easter holidays)! The grassy places are generously sized, the camper area is very compact with the essentials included. The operators are very friendly, the facilities are clean, and the lake with its promenade and opportunities is wonderful! Baker, butcher, small supermarket in the village. For dogs, there is - in addition to the dog beach - a nice enclosed area to let them run around.

I really liked the camper harbor. Access is via the Lakeside Road. At the barrier, you receive a day ticket and can choose a spot that is not reserved. With the ticket, you gain access to the washroom and can pay for this at the machine on the day of departure. The area is spacious and has green grass. Parking is done on the grid. The spots have electricity connection, water, and sewage, which is included in the price.

Beautiful location near Dümmer Lake, great for hiking and cycling tours, very natural, also good for water sports enthusiasts, especially clean sanitary facilities for dog owners.

We also stood on the meadow like our predecessor. A great alternative spot, large with electricity and nearby water connection. Very large and clean washhouse. The rolls were really tasty and the baker was close by. Many well-marked bike paths and in the evening over the lake, the sunset. But to some fellow campers, you won't get sore muscles if you use the slider and leave the shower as you would like to find it yourself.

We stood on the meadow from the bridge on the left, for a while. There are two sanitary facilities, the place is clean. We were with 2 kids, boys aged 6 and 9. Not far away is the beach with climbing tower and also a muddy playground. There is also a kiosk with a terrace like a beer garden. A bar right on the beach. You can get rolls at Lehmbruch, a short walk or bike ride. For our kids, with nice weather and loving water. Completely sufficient, we would have liked to stay longer.

All in all, the place is okay. We stood on the unallocated last meadow. We had a walk of 600m to the toilet. 980m to the beach and for us lazy ones the walk to the dog beach was already quite a distance. This was the first place where we borrowed a bike from the nearby bike dealer. No roll service, no kiosk. But located in the village of Lehmbruch, that's all not necessary by bike! For fishing, there are often long distances as well. The same goes for washing, washing machines are app-controlled, you get notified when the laundry is ready, in the washing area there's a free dishwasher. Museum and beach bar have acceptable prices. With better preparation, it would definitely have been a nicer holiday. So for us it was okay. The staff was quite polite and helpful.
