Campingplatz Straubing

The site appears well-maintained, but also has weaknesses. For example, the disposal station at the entrance is no longer up to date, causing frustration among campers because the cassettes cannot be emptied completely. For 2 persons, € 40,-- is charged. That's a steep price for one night and inappropriate for a municipal campsite. The city administration of Straubing could learn a lot from the French municipal campsites. Result: At night, access roads and niches in Wundermühlweg become a free overnight spot. Better to keep driving, for example to Bogen.

Way too nice for just one night! A super well-maintained, clean place. Sanitary facilities clean, without any unpleasant odors. The manager at the reception was extremely nice. Everything went totally smoothly. We would love to come back!

Quiet and clean parking space, the staff is friendly and helpful, unfortunately we were there shortly after a flood, hence many mosquitoes.

We stopped at this place for an overnight stay on our way to Croatia. The access is very good even for large trailers. The sites are sufficiently large. The place is very well-maintained. The sanitary building is large and clean. The lady at the reception was super friendly; we rarely experience that. Too nice for just one night, we will come back, and this time we will definitely stay longer.

We spent two nights on our trip to Croatia with our camper there. Very well-maintained campsite, clean sanitary facilities, very nice reception. Depending on your preference, there are large shady and sunny spots on grass, free choice of pitch. It's a 20-minute walk to Straubing. We felt very comfortable.

The campsite is very clean and the pitches are laid out like a cloverleaf around the sanitary building. The sanitary building is older but is cleaned regularly. Of course, there are some little piggies who behave improperly. I wouldn't want to know how it is at home for them. For the four-legged friends and their dog owners, there is a dog meadow adjacent that was actively used during our stay. All in all, recommendable. Good 4 stars with a tendency to 4.5.

For us 2 adults with a dog a very good spot. Clean sanitary facilities, large pitches and friendly operators (municipal). Next door, a dog park has been created by the city where the four-legged friends can romp around.

Very well maintained, clean, and very tidy for an urban square! Wonderful old trees, beautiful squares. Well-kept and always clean sanitation facilities! Great location between the Old Danube and the canal on an island. Somewhat sparse supervision, only from 4:00 PM, but free choice of site; very friendly caretaker! Bread rolls in the village, easily reachable on foot. Highly recommended!
