The pitch was perfectly fine for me, the operators were very nice and you could also have a personal word with both of them.

Friendliness and service are severely lacking! Outdated and renovation-needed sanitary facilities, as well as the absence of toilet seats in every restroom, are one thing, but unfriendliness and an inability to properly welcome guests are another. Instead of a warm welcome, Servus or good day, there is only an unfriendly announcement from the groundskeeper if you do not position yourself according to his preferences and wishes on the course. It is important to mention here that when the reception is unstaffed, one can choose a place according to the prescribed guidelines. Nevertheless, this procedure is likely not liked by the groundskeeper either. Perhaps the reception should simply be staffed longer and the guests should be directed themselves. The only positive thing is that the sun has shone.

Beautifully located place for exploring the surroundings such as Berchtesgadener and Salzburger Land. Everything you need for camping is available or can be bought in the nearby area. I have not had any bad experiences with the hosts, quite the opposite. I also cannot understand the negative reviews regarding the washrooms. I believe it largely depends on one’s own expectations. In any case, we enjoyed our stay without trouble and would gladly return. 👋

Beautiful and simple campsite, many gravel pitches, often shady due to old trees (meant in a positive way), great starting point for hikes, visits to Salzburg/ Bad Reichenhall and co. Minimum stay during the holiday period is 2 days. The bathrooms have been renovated - they are simple but completely adequate. The operators are nice and typically Bavarian, they can sometimes come across as a bit grumpy. 😉 We, 2 adults, 2 children and 1 dog, are happy to come back again.

We really liked the place itself (we were in the lower section): well-kept, spacious plots, a view of greenery, quiet. The sanitary facilities were of a very decent standard. Even at 27 EUR (for 2 people, trailer, electricity, and sanitary), it is a reasonable price. Very confusing was an entry on the site map on the website stating that transit campers are not allowed to use the sanitary facilities. But we were allowed to. When returning the chips, I asked about the handling of the refusal of the sanitary facilities regarding transit travelers concerning the note on the site plan on the website. Answer: It depends on occupancy. A later visit to the website showed the site plan without that handwritten note (this may have been a forgotten - now corrected - entry from the Corona times, which probably caused too much trouble for those affected).

Sanitary and quiet at the site are good. Very family-like. Guest card with free use of public transportation.

Lots are large, partially gravelled. Quiet location. The operator ensures compliance with the site rules - very good. Those who do not need sanitary facilities do not have to pay for them.

The site was our stop twice to and from Croatia. The location is inconvenient to reach due to construction work in the area. Otherwise, the place is recommended, also the easy booking, simply go to the site and set up, and register at 6 PM.
