It's really good that there's a swimming pool and a bathing lake and that it's included in the price. The place is a good starting point for cycling or to visit and use the beautiful spa park and the thermal baths. There's definitely no site manager, as we were standing in tall grass. We first wanted to borrow a lawnmower from the permanent campers. It's also a shame that some dog owners leave their dogs to do their business on free pitches. The place has a lot of room for improvement.

Lunch break is all well and good, but on vacation I don't want to be locked in. At 12:30, the gate closes and you can't leave the site anymore. This is simply not up to date.

Very nice campsite with a lot of greenery around. In relation, very inexpensive. The swimming pool is right next door. The sanitary buildings have been newly modernized and have very comfortable showers.

We were at this site in late autumn 2022. After rain, lots of mud, and rotting leaves on the paths. Access roads with holes and puddles. Accordingly, both sanitation buildings looked that way too. The receptionist was not the friendliest - service by the book - the site was double booked, even though few tourist campers were present. Permanent campers in the front area had very appealing facilities, but the rear area was borderline neglected. Water taps were too far away. All in all, not recommended.

The place is super beautiful. Unfortunately, we often had mice nearby at night, but that can’t be avoided with the bushes. Otherwise, very friendly visitors and permanent campers. Sanitary facilities are adequate. Showers have been renovated and exceed those of many other campsites. Prices are affordable and the staff is super friendly. There is also a lot to offer in the surroundings. A wonderful bathing lake adjacent, as well as a swimming pool with a slide for the bad days. Not far away is one of the most beautiful spas (ranked 3rd in Germany), a relaxing spa town, shopping opportunities. The spa park, Kloster Banz, the pilgrimage church of Vierzehnheiligen, the Banz climbing park, and the Staffelberg are all absolutely recommendable!!! We have a really short drive, but will definitely come back every year.

Beautiful campground, sites quite level and good for motorhomes to park. Registration in the restroom, very friendly. You have to be careful with the satellite dish because of the trees. Sanitary building clean, a bit older but perfectly fine. We arrived in heavy rain, but with gravel in the pitch, no problem. The spa in the town is very nice. There is a great bike path leading to the spa and into the town. Great Franconian old town. There are Rewe, Rossmann, Norma, Kik, Nkd, and bakeries, butchers, and cafes to sit outside. We really enjoyed it. Kloster Banz, Vierzehnheiligen, and Staffelberg nearby to visit.

The campground itself is not exactly the prettiest. Sanitary facilities are outdated and dirty. The playground is also totally outdated. You definitely need rubber boots on the paths when it rains. The swimming lake and the swimming pool are great.
