The Sonnenwiese campsite welcomes its guests in an idyllic location surrounded by nature between the Weserbogen and Weserbergland. Here holidaymakers will find pitches located between the campsite's bathing lake and the banks of the Weser. Facilities for the supply of water and disposal of waste water are also available on the campsite site. Camping Sonnenwiese also welcomes campers' four-legged friends. A canoe tour is a great way to discover the surrounding area, which you can start and finish directly from the campsite. Fishing enthusiasts will also get their money's worth here - fishing licences are available at reception.

The location is nice but we won't come back.
We can only advise against Campingplatz Sonnenwiese. The manager is such an impertinent person, something we have never experienced in our long camping years. Poor service, warning about the barrier system!
Miserable price-performance ratio. Very expensive place with many additional costs, price would only be justified by the appropriate service that is missing here. When you've just won the lottery, a good place.
We were back at Sonnenwiese after 12 years. Once always well visited, this year almost empty. 2 nights for 2 people with WW cost almost 80 euros. Way too expensive.

Ascension Day was busy and still great!
It was very nice there on Ascension Day - busy yet amazing! We had a lot of fun in the pool, the entire place very well maintained, toilets clean, daily fresh rolls, delicious gourmet schnitzels. We will come back.
