We have been to this site very often. Always satisfied. Unfortunately, many things have worsened. It started with the uncut pitch, the drainage pipe was nowhere to be found, overgrown. We had to clear it to be able to use it. The cleaning staff had no rhythm. You could go to the shower whenever you wanted, it was always being cleaned. One day the water was turned off and the stated time was not adhered to. In the evening, there was still no water. That's simply not acceptable at a campsite. Upon departure, we were treated very unfriendly by a big, large man. Not a word, did you enjoy it, were you satisfied. Pay, disappear. Electricity costs 7 euros a day. Total rip-off!!!

The campsite is nicely located by the North Sea, is well-maintained, and offers clean sanitary facilities and friendly staff. However, the pricing is not very transparent (e.g., 7 € electricity flat rate), during rain some pitches get muddy and in warm weather the trash area is noticeably smelly. The WiFi is weak and since mobile networks are only available to a limited extent, better internet connectivity would be desirable.

We have always been to the site several times a year, but now we will first look for something else. The price-performance ratio doesn't fit at all anymore. The place is clean and the sanitary facilities are also, but some parts are no longer up to date. The internet (mobile reception and Wi-Fi) is a catastrophe, the electricity fee has been raised to €7 per day (!) completely disproportionate. For weekend trips like in the past, unfortunately this is no longer acceptable and is a real scam. Very unfortunate. Otherwise, we have always felt comfortable.

The location and the lake for pedal boating and other activities were super. The pitches were wet and there is no suitable playground for children. The small bathing beach by the lake was very overcrowded and full of the usual people who aren't exactly cultured, which is an absolute no-go. We left after 15 minutes. Moreover, one had to be careful where to step, as either the grassy areas were full of ducks/geese or were littered with dog feces. Quite annoying is also the self-proclaimed beach police regarding the tourist tax. Well, and the showers were not great. The toilets were dirty.

Great campsite, quietly located, ideal for cyclists. Sanitary area well maintained and everything very clean. Nice, small kiosk, daily fresh rolls.

We were on site at the end of October. In the days before our arrival, it had rained a lot. As a result, some of the pitches were not usable. But that wasn't a problem. We were allowed to choose one that was usable. The shop could really be upgraded a bit. But that's nitpicking at a high level. The sanitary facilities are clean and well-maintained. All in all, a great campsite.

We have been to this place for the second time now, and it is still as beautiful as we remembered it. Large area for dog lovers, separate section for non-dog owners. Unfortunately, only large dogs romp around in the fenced dog play area, too dangerous for small dogs. The dog field on the beach is mostly occupied by large dogs as well. It would be nice to have a separate area just for small dogs! The washroom in the dog-free area is relatively new, very nice, and has everything that is missing in other areas: large individual washing cabins with giant sinks and enough hooks! Toilets with their own handwashing sink and disinfection option! The showers also have an additional sink. And everything is super clean. Of course, all of this comes with a price! The areas are expensive. But given the offerings (water sports, play barn, beach, walking paths, etc.) it's justified. If the Wi-Fi would work and the shop had a better selection of baked goods (no ready-to-bake items!), the place would be perfect!!!

We had a large parceled site, the staff was very friendly, the layout with the lakes and holiday homes is very nicely done. There are enough toilets, showers, and wash basins available. But: in the showers, the partition wall is so narrow that everything gets wet. The showerhead is fixed and very hard. There was a regulator for the temperature with a maximum of 38 degrees. During our vacation week, we had maximum temperatures of 19 degrees, so we would have liked to take a hot shower. Not possible. In the dishwashing area, you could normally regulate the water and it was really hot there. On our arrival day, it rained heavily and our site had a dip, of course right under the awning carpet, so the water really collected there. Next to our parcel was the path to the sanitary building, also a dip with a large puddle, so several campers walked over our parcel. That was of course absolutely okay for us, no one should fall. There are other places with 3 ADAC stars that do it better.
