What campers are saying
Summarized by AI
The campsite scores with its natural location and the relaxed, free choice of pitches on the meadow. Children and dogs feel completely at home here thanks to the petting zoo and play barn. Good to know for the trip: Anyone heading there should be prepared for slightly older sanitary facilities.

Overall, it's a really beautiful campsite with freely selectable pitches situated between the forest, stream, and meadow. The petting zoo is fantastic for children! The game hall has aged a bit. The toilet facilities are modern, but they could be cleaner, and in the morning, there was only cold water available for showering (and at 7 AM there certainly weren't many others who had already showered). It is advisable to make a reservation at the restaurant. We were surprised by the restricted access timing with a barrier between 12 PM and 2 PM. During this time, it is not possible to leave the site with a car. This caught us off guard (according to the owners, it should have been mentioned on the check-in sheet, but it only states the arrival times. That is not the same as restricted access times.) For outings, it seems quite difficult and not entirely understandable to impose such restrictions on guests.

Good campsite, but hygiene lacking

The campsite itself is very good; however, the sanitary facilities, which are clearly aging, present a problem. Unfortunately, they do not seem to be cleaned regularly. We have been passing through here for many years (great location by the highway), yet the situation is not improving. I won't even mention the overflowing trash containers... There are no wash cabins, and brushing teeth at one of the two sinks directly in front of the toilets, which are also used by guests of the restaurant, is quite unsanitary. Additionally, there is an insufficient supply of electrical distribution boxes.

Great campsite in nature, free choice of spots

Free choice of spots, beautiful natural area surrounded by streams, nice for kids to play, petting zoo, play barn and lovely bike paths all around. The sanitary facilities were far too few for 70 pitches: Ladies: 3 showers, 3 toilets / Gents: 2 showers, 3 toilets. Additionally, it was too cramped, especially if you have a small child with you. Cleanliness could definitely be improved. Service in the restaurant was frustrating. On the first evening, we had to get the staff's attention twice, and after waiting 30 minutes without placing an order, we left with our young children. On the second evening, there was no space left outside and the other benches set up in the courtyard didn’t belong to the restaurant. We could have had takeout there, but the order would have taken too long that evening. So we left again. On the third evening, we were finally able to eat there.

An unpartitioned campsite with very spacious pitches. The sanitary facilities are somewhat outdated and could use a renovation, though they were generally clean. At times the toilets were blocked and the wastewater drainage took a long time. The attached restaurant cooked very well and the prices were still reasonable. The indoor play barn for children could also use some newer toys. The waste station was very full, which didn't present a nice image. The power boxes were sometimes further away, which needs to be considered regarding the cable length. Overall, it's a suitable place for nature lovers, perfect for bike rides and hiking trips. The railway line runs very close by, but it didn't bother us much.

+ Idyllic location in nature. Good cycling route connection. o Sanitary facilities are simple and have become somewhat outdated. No electrical connection at the pitches. A long power cable may be required.

A beautiful little patch of earth

A beautiful piece of earth in the midst of nature. With much love, the owners manage the campsite, restaurant, petting zoo, holiday apartments, farm shop, and everything that belongs to the pig mill. Hats off for their achievement! The site itself actually consists of 2 separate areas, each with their own permanent campers. Choice of pitch is free, as are showers and electricity. We will keep the site in very good memory and will gladly recommend it.

A super nice campsite!! There are no designated spots, everyone can choose their favorite corner. For children, the place is a dream! There is a petting zoo, a hayloft and a playroom. Dogs are also warmly welcomed! There are beautiful hiking trails and the entire area is so beautifully landscaped. The sanitary facilities are clean and sufficient. At the restaurant, you are greeted warmly and served very kindly. Overall, a very nice place. We will definitely come back!!!
