Campingplatz Rueppenhof

This was the second time here and I would come again. Very beautiful spots with a view of the lake, very friendly and helpful operators. Super located for excursions in the area. Sanitary facilities are top and clean and (important for our stay period) heated.

Actually a small but nice place, but... The sanitary facilities have clearly seen better days. There are only two showers each for ladies and gentlemen for the entire place, and one of the showers for men was unusable due to a missing shower fitting. All shower trays are moldy. Free Wi-Fi is advertised, but it does not work throughout the entire place, only in a small seating area outside. The electricity consumption is charged by the operator at their discretion: either a flat rate (4 euros/day) or based on actual usage. My request for consumption-based billing received the response that reading the meters for a 4-day stay is not worth it. Card payments (including debit card) come with a 2.5% surcharge as a 'reward.' Overall unfriendly treatment.

We spent a wonderful week here with friends. A very nice couple of operators. Located right by the excellent, clear Thiersee. The place is not very large; everything is well laid out. We liked that there was no restaurant or kiosk; pure tranquility. The village can be reached in 10 minutes on the way by the lake, and you can find everything you need there.

Despite the spontaneous decision, we still got a nice spot with a view of the lake. We were greeted very nicely at the reception. Everything met our expectations except for the rain on the day of departure, so the next stay is guaranteed to happen.
