We, senior couple, were there for a week and felt comfortable all around. We had to postpone our appointment because my partner became ill. That worked immediately and at no cost. The place is small but very nicely located. The sanitary container with toilet, two showers and washing machine and dryer is clean at any time of the day. The staff is very friendly. It is ideal for activities of all kinds. Secluded but still central. All larger cities (Erfurt with the Wartburg, Gotha with the castle, Schmalkalden with the best Thuringian Rostbratwurst and much more, Trusetal with the waterfall, Brotterode with the inselschanzen, and so on). We will gladly return in 2025.
