Campingplatz Räbke

The campsite is totally run down, you can see that nothing has been invested for a long time. Sanitary facilities very poorly cleaned, walls damaged, the outdoor areas unkempt. We were there for one night on our way, we actually wanted to stay longer...

We were only there for one night, but still completely satisfied. Very nice operators

The campsite is tidy and clean. The recreational offerings, besides a table tennis table and an old playground, are minimal. A new bus kiosk offers coffee, cakes, and snacks at regular prices. The sanitary facilities are clean and generously designed. However, they are already a bit outdated. According to the website, dogs are said to be welcome... Well, let's just say you can bring them and pay for them. The Wi-Fi is not included as stated here! It must be purchased at a high price per device and is also unstable, with a maximum of 5 Mbps per login token, very slow. Hardly usable in the evenings.

Great campsite, very well-kept with a dog area and a dog lake. Additionally, there is a nice outdoor swimming pool with a small restaurant/snack bar adjacent to the campsite. I don’t understand the ADAC rating. Furthermore, there is a small snack bus directly on the site. Very nice, I come here every year.

Beautiful places with a lot of grass

We made a stop there on our way to Norway and were very satisfied with the place. The staff, or I believe it was the owner, was very friendly and helpful. There was even a personal bread roll service on Sunday morning. The sanitation facilities are not the newest but clean. We would visit this place anytime again, hoping it will work out again on a trip to the north.

The campsite Räbke is beautifully situated and offers a good starting point for city trips (Brunswick, Magdeburg, Wolfenbüttel), nice hikes in the Elm, or historical excursions (e.g. border trail Bad Helmstedt/Beendorf, border memorial site Marienborn). For us, the proximity to the family-friendly outdoor pool Räbke was great. The operator of the site is very friendly and helpful. The sanitary facilities are not the newest, but were always clean. The tourist pitches and the playground are in good condition. Among the permanent campers, you can find very well-maintained plots next to some that are quite run down. All in all, we liked it very much. We will definitely come back.

We were here after the swimming pool season, so we couldn't test it. The place itself is nicely laid out, the operator is very nice, and the roll order list is incredibly extensive. The showers and toilets are clean and available in sufficient numbers. The coin-operated shower system takes some getting used to, but it is likely due to newer hygiene regulations: when a coin runs out, the shower stands still for over a minute, meaning you can't just toss another coin in; you have to plan your shower time well in advance and insert the appropriate number of coins. The water is nice and hot though - even in the washing rooms. The playground has room for improvement - aside from the fact that a fundraising campaign is already underway for this, it was sufficient for my 4 and 5 year old boys. At every campsite, everyone has to decide what they need. We are more the "simple campers." We find lively activities and child entertainment rather disturbing, so the absence of corresponding offerings here is clearly a plus point for us. We will definitely return.
